Tidal has the best reef footage in the world. Thanks to Tidal Gardens I just purchased the Canon C100 w/24-105mm L w/autofocus CMOS upgrade. WOW thanks again for the help via messaging. This thing is amazing for its age and price. I use full autofocus with no issues filming my tanks.
What a beautiful system. And amazing shots Than. It’s so nice to see full colonies. They are gorgeous! Thanks Ryan for sharing your tank with us. Would love to hear more of lessons learned.
This was so good, Marc spoke about the exchanger on one of his live streams and someone was challenging that it does dehumidify, what a turn of events! 😏 Thank you for sharing this tank!!
I love these types of videos. So glad to see this tank again. I love the look of a large tank with big colonies and not the fruit stand look with 1000 frags. I though I was weird having a 200 gallon system with 7 fish but 1000 gallon and 10 fish is really different. Great video. Go make more friends so you can shoot more of these. We need to see more of your great production value on these tank videos.
A Beautiful system and a great conversation, it was informative thank you both. And I agree that it's nice to see fully grown colonies. I wish we had more examples of each species grown out. I conceptually compare it to landscaping. I landscape design, you plan for what the plant will become, it size, growth habit, shape, color, and textures. Coral may not stop growing, but understanding the growth form and pattern is critical for ideal tank placement. And you just can't get that information from a frag.
Ryan’s tank looks amazing. His tank has evolved very well over the time, the corals and fish are amazing & it’s a testament to Ryans care he puts in to it. Thanks Thanh
He's beautiful. The Achilles was always the fish I wanted to keep, but never felt that I had a responsible environment for one. (My last tank was 400Gallon). It's doing fantastic.
Do you guys ever thought about injecting vinegar into calcium reactor to increase output & reduce nutrient? It's may not be typical but that's what i did to increase alk. Inject 3 ml per hr with co2 1 bubble per second.
Does ryan have a list of his different plating corals with a name and picture of it. Would be nice to know how colonies grow out of different plating varieties such as efflo hyacinthus etc..
His tank is better than most of the reef tanks in many Public aquariums I went to (LI Aquarium, Mystic, Shedd, Maui, Waikiki, NY Aquarium, Marineland) Still need to hit the Georgia Aquarium next.
Very interesting the ability to achieve success with different ways of doing things. So he is keeping his euphyllia is 250 par? Or is it one of the lower light areas?
Thanks for sharing that interview. 11:20 He meant .02 Phosphate, correct? I have passed on regal several times as their diet is sponges mostly. How does he keep that fish so fat? Does he dose phyto daily? Feed live brine shrimp? What’s he feed the tank? Auto Dose refrigerated stuff?
Coming from the planted tank side of things I had wondered what is the use of CO2 injection in the marine hobby. I wish adding 1-2 bubbles per second was enough, I'm at 5 BPS for a 70 gallon planted tank, and that is with a CO2 reactor 😅
So refreshing to see a tank with large colonies instead of a million rainbow frags
Agreed, we need to see more tanks like this.
Rainbow frags are the best! Odoil rules!
Wow, amazing system!!! "There's no free lunch in this hobby!"
Absolutely gorgeous. Mr. Reeves, I take my hat off to you, sir.
A very nice tank. The fish definitely act different when there is adequate room to swim.

Ryan definitely has my dream tank! So happy I got to see it
Absolutely a man after my own heart. Totally with you on the low numbers of fish and being all about the beauty of the corals. My philosophy exactly
Absolutely stunning!
The tank looks amazing. The colonies and their sizes are mesmerizing!
beautiful system!!!!
Love his style of reefing.
Lovely indeed thank you 👍🦈😊
What an amazing eco-system, I am in awe. Stunning beauty.
Love a tidal gardens video 🥰
Thank you all!!
I want to be Ryan's best friend forever!!!!
Would love to see an update on this tank

As usual Than cinema quality camera work! Was so stoked to see a new video today
Amazing tank
Amazing tank! It's like a piece of reef.
The tank looks fantastic the guy seems well grounded - the perfect combination for your video Than 😀
Great video Than!👏🏽👏🏽

I completely agree. PS your tank looks great! I love the invert movement and the anthias
@@NuclearSpinach Thank you. Appreciate it.

ORA likes their Carlson surge devices :)
Do more tank tours Than plez!
The high light for me is that Achilles tang he is the man

@@ryanreeves8931 God bless him and the tank. Looks so natural and amazing

Oh man i couldn't leave the house! Id so paranoid something would break.

i wish i could subscribe again!

Thanks for such kind words and encouragement.
Don’t wanna catch that Coldvid!

Yes. It's about 250-275.
That sailfin though…
It's about an inch thick. Seriously.

What is the red fish upper right 3:18
Why not use kalkwasser?
He said he uses a GEO calcium reactor and you showed an Aquamaxx. Was that from 2019?
I've never had an Aquamaxx reactor. It's always been the GEO w/ this system.
What Abyzz pump was mentioned?
abyzz.de/en/shop/flow-pumps/abyzz-afc150ipu-compact-kopie/
Christ that thing looks like a small torpedo for your aquarium… correction, water ramjet! No wonder it’s called The Cannon!
Can't wait to get my hands on one!
Why no refugium?

Lol I have 30 fish in a 120g
thats alot of fish
“And don’t ask how much it costs….”
Soooo……how much something like this cost?
It depends.
@@ryanreeves8931 It was a joke
@@adambahe9309 ;)
Needs sand for sure..
10 fish in a 1000 is nearly no nutrients I'm amazed there are any nutrients. Even 20 seams light. Nutrients at scale are just hard.
No predation.
