Recovery

Took a ride up the south end of Thompson Ridge Trail - two years after the wildfires. The devastation of the burn is still visible but like my recovery from my neck injury last year, the forest is resilient and also coming back though it will take decades to fully be a vibrant forest again. The flowers were everywhere and the new growth is covering the forest floor with great enthusiasm. It is great to be flowing down the trails again.
