I have Ketu close to ascendent and Moon with Rahu. My body is covered with tiny scars because I used to pick raspberries alone naked in a forest and they are very spikey. Also just going without clothes and getting scrached by wilderness a lot. Also I have had PTSD because growing up in a violent family. I have went through some intense karma in this life. No complaints. I was probably bad in a past life to get to live a life like mine. Things better now.
i know it must be difficult for you to translate it... but i actually really like the way this book describe things, with thick strokes... it is peircing and yet opening like good poetry. it is also very poetic how you read it and expand it, magistral. personally i think this description of rahu and ketu is one of the most clear and real of all the planets, i have rahu in my 2nd house... for me it is the perfect description of my family/support system and my relationship to that. it is almost cathartic to hear it in another words💘🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

_In regards to my question_ I guess I imagined how those qualities of Rahu, and Ketu, were impactful enough to have an effect on indications of the Sun. Not to make Sun indications "nicer", sounds like what you thought I was asking, but in a Rahu/Ketu way to actually be powerful enough to effect and even change those very consistent intense overt qualities. Like Ultraviolet and infrared rays are harmful thus keeps us away from too much Sun exposure. Or how a lawless non-planning individual in a leadership role causing problems for his own kingdom.
The words ultra-violet and infra-red feel so on topic.
And, the fact that we cannot see either of these spectrum, mainly because our eyes were developed due to sun's radiation and our millions of years long adaptation to it. The dark and the light. So, yeah, the sun, the moon and the nodes.
By the way, some ultraviolet is essential and normal for functioning of life on earth. Similarly, hotter radiations like reddish and infrared radiations are good as they provide us with a lot of heat.
The extreme analysis would be to study neutrinos on both sides of spectrum, which are always present and pass through and through whole planets, our bodies and keep on raging against the dark of the space.
First being the longer wavelength, infraredy Microwave Background radiation, which is more like Ketu, and is ever present since big bang.
The second being the case of unstoppable, humongous bombardment of neutrinos coming from our own star, Sun., which is rather new phenomena and other things could be signals and EMR related to electronics and internet.
One would be Ketu and other would be Rahu. A lot of study to be done, distinction.

An understanding:
Rahu - eclipse of the Sun (will/ authority/head)
Ketu - eclipse of the Moon (emotions/lower body)
Rahu and Ketu can eclipse the sun or moon. A full moon with the Sun at either Rahu or Ketu causes a lunar eclipse. A new moon with the Sun at either Rahu or Ketu causes a solar eclipse.

I could see how some planets may be may be more hierarchy but Venus seems to be pivotal for hiearchies. Thats why the section on Sun and Venus being parents of the day and Saturn and Moon at night made some sense. Idk

Fascinating question - Ketu in Leo conjunct ascendant exactly and rahu in Aquarius. Sun conjunct Saturn in 10th house in Taurus. Yes, I like to balance the lessons of the dragon and especially with Saturn Ketu raja yoga, and sun Saturn raja yoga. Then exalted mars Ketu raja yoga.

In regards to your comments on modern astrology and outer planets . It appears to me that modern astrology stopped looking for rulerships etc when other planets were discovered ie Makemake, Eris, Haumea, Sedna, Ceres etc. etc other outer planets that can’t be observed with the naked eye mmm.
Imagine this.
The zodiac is made up of sun and the moon.
But, the 12 sections have rulerships that go even after Saturn, which is uranus, neptune and pluto.
I mean, if the luminaries and sun's movement is describing the zodiac, then how come we have invisible planets ruling a third of the zodiac.
It's weird. Maybe, there's more to it.

Satyavadi means a person who strives to follow satya(truth/eternal truth like dharma). Mahatma gandhi was called a satyavadi because he followed true dharma in his actions & speach.
The opposite at 23 mins, is true for rahu who is a a-satyavadi meaning follows adharma thru & thru

Be it, sat or asat, vishnu is in everything, and he is above every thing. That's just one way to look at it.
Adharma can be 'lawlessness'. So, during ww2, if I protect Jews in Germany or Poland, technically, I'm Adharmic, in a lot of ways, but I'm very dharmic to my human nature.
A-sat-ya-wadi is not resonant with A-dharma, I guess. That's why they are two different words. Focus.

The nodes are always retrograde in motion.
It's just geometrical mathematics I guess. I don't have a clear mental map of this happens or a link to a clear gif or video representation.
Try searching about it. I think, there might be se development regarding that. It was a long time ago, since I tried to have a feel for this.

i would think that true is better. but if you are on such a border, it actually doesnt make a difference, the important part for you is that rahu is "sandhi" (in border)
Yes he is Sandi but in uttra Phalguni either way. He becomes atma karaka with true node where as Saturn is with mean node .. so it’s confusing Lol

Rahu dasa…mine starts in November, how is yours thus far? I heard if it’s your fifth dasa it’s considered unlucky, which mine’s is, I’m a bit worried haha, but if it’s anything like my Saturn return, I’ll know what to expect. It’s supposed to last like 19 years

In Ramayana when Lord Rama and brothers were born, their father the King of Ayodhya had astrologers make their horoscopes. To be honest I don’t think astrology was “invented” by anyone in India, since how did a population without astronomical tools like telescope, satellites, rockets etc etc, document and precisely calculate the planetary speeds, travel, motion to the nth decimal? Just these rishis sitting in the Himalayas could not have “seen” these things happening in the skies. My belief is these humans had regular contact with celestial beings in past Yugas who gave a healthy download of knowledge. Not terribly unlike what many people are claiming today vis-à-vis alien contacts giving a peek of the other worldly universe.
I love how you break down the words! However, has it occurred to you that the translation in text is from the most external viewpoint of the possibilities, and therefore, the least flattering? From an internal viewpoint, Rahu is a lot like Shiva, necessary, and live giving, from an angle, so you don't have a clear view at the outset why it is.

That's hard. We had 9/11 and covid, both, when Mars was conjunct Ketu in Capricorn. You must be feeling pretty stirred by all this.
Capricorn still has South node of Saturn, pluto and South node of pluto in it. And, I think, it's going to be a while before they get out of this sign. But, I hope, you go for a reading with your favourite confidant?!.

My Rahu changes signs and houses from mean nodes to true nodes. True node puts it in saggitarius in my 3rd house and Mean node puts it in capricorn in My 4th house right next to my venus and opposite my saturn. Which nodes should I calculate for? It particularly makes a big difference in my chart.

any books that actually have archeological source. I think you would do better to search scholastic papers rather than "books." Modern scholarship is not my cup of tea, tho, so I can't help more than this.
