- While we sit here with colds and a snow emoji ❄️ on our weather app in Europe, it’s finally time for the Sorrento Vlog from our time in Italy this summer. Think of Sorrento as Positano without all the influencers and Hens parties and with all the lemons you could ever imagine. We stayed here for two nights and it was the perfect little spot. Swimming, seaside Scooter trips, gelato and loads of sunshine, we even popped into Positano to say hello. Whilst I took some time to actually slow down from all the travel, Ev can tell you all about the Path of the Gods Walk too. As always, any questions, drop them below and we’d love it if you would like, share and subscribe to our channel. It helps others find us too :)
Our favourite Beach: Marina di Praia - you pay for your chairs and as it’s a tiny beach, it’s worth getting there early but it really is the perfect little hideaway aaaand, all you spend on the chairs you can claim back at the cafe on food or drinks.
Book I read on the beach: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo / the-seven-husbands-of-...

Looks awesome you guys know all the best spots.
Have had the pleasure of going to Sorrento twice. It is one of our favourites in Italy. It brings back memories I will cherish my whole life. When I see videos like this it brings it all back. When you had the gelato I went straight to when I had one there. Thank you for bringing my memories back.
Oh I’m so glad I could transport you!!! Gelato there is pretty hard to forget 😉 hope you get back there soon x
I hope someday soon we will travel there😊
❤
Lovely vlog, which hotel u stayed in Sorrento?
What a view. We had one from an 18th-century Villa on above the city that was amazing too. It looks like you had a great time. Next time, I hope you have more time. Sorrento is one of our favorites due to its proximity to so many other sites. If you are interested in seeing what a father-son team of anthropologists turned park rangers turned travel vloggers does when we are on the road, we would love your support and opinions on how we can improve our efforts to promote eco-tourism, cultural heritage and the amazing people of the World. Cheers, my friends! - Turtle and Bear
I will be going here in July, this has made me super excited! May I ask how you manage to book the train from Sorrento to Naples (vise versa) is it something you have to do on the day? Thank you
You can book online but we just bought tickets on the day from the ticket counter at the station. Have a wonderful trip!!
im going tommorow🤭
Oh enjoy!!
We are staying in sorrento 4 days in the summer. Any recommendations of restaurants & gelato in sorrento?
Hi Tricia, Sorrento is gorgeous. You’ll love it. As far as restaurants go, I would always advise in small quaint cities like this that you wander round and find the restaurant that attracts you at the time. There are gelato options everywhere - you won’t go wrong with whichever gelato you choose. But if you’re looking for a specific spot, try Antica Gelateria Dell’academia x
Thankyou lovely 🥰
Thank YOU for watching x
it seems like I have to turn on HDR to watch this video, otherwise, it is like over exposed under sun.
Hi Jason, that’s a shame. I haven’t had that feedback before from anyone else or when I watch them. Might be a setting a issues. Regardless, apologies
@@lexduff nice video though. We’re heading to Sorrento in one month. Thanks for your vid.
