The family finish the north side siding. Finn and Nat put together a little summer a “little” e-bike. THANKS Himiway!!!! Perfect e-bike for the mountain. Full suspension, 80 mile battery life, huge tires and large control screen makes for a perfect summer time pass time!!!

The house is coming along pretty well. Ben you know better than to look at electric wielder arc without eye protection for shame for shame. Really get another hood or at least dark goggles if you need to see and help someone else while they are wielding. stay safe and healthy.

As you both get older and eye doctor suggests cataract surgery do it you can see so much clearer and seeing better also
The surgery is really a no biggy. You don’t feel a thing and they didn’t even have me take off my shoes! Had it done last year. Very short procedure. We live across the street from the hospital, WALKED home! I’ve felt MUCH worse after the dentist!
I thought Oaker built the mantle with his metal work at school, he’s the best .

Are you going to put some sort of clear coating like Shark Hyde over the steel once you get the desired patina? Here in Florida, with our extreme to dangerous humidity, raw steel rusts through pretty quickly.

I just wanted to let you all know that the house has definitely came a long long ways in the past couple months for sure!!! The siding definitely looks really good and of course I definitely love the design of the hand railing also!!! You all did an amazing job and you all have definitely been working really hard to get it all done!!! I’m going to say that you all will have the house all finished up before Santa gets all pissed off again and starts shooting white stuff all over again!!! Awesome video for sure and definitely some great progress!!! Remember keep up all the hard work!!!

It's a matter of taste. The Rust look will be interesting as it eternally changes. Guess if its painted you choose color but maybe costs more to maintain in the long run.

Nice one folks , you know i was thinking , if you built a roof across those shipping containers it would make for an exellent working area in the cold weather , just roof across them , floor it then put a front on , and bobs yer uncle ........one work space .

Not really. I love wood and tolerate metal and Ben loves metal and tolerates wood so us together are a really good match. 🤣
@@bandmsgarage I'm equal opportunity. Designed, built and maintained equipment in woodworking millworks. You need the metal to work the wood.
Wish I had pictures of the 2 story floating wooden staircase we did. We had to weld up a metal skeleton to tie into the rebar before the concrete floor was poured and then built the open oak staircase as a 1 inch thick lamination over the steel so all that you saw was the oak with no visible support structure.
