My home airport, great to see it from a different perspective! Amazing how it has changed over the years. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for the feedback!
Excellent. I’ve worked in a school in Lea Hall and this is the first pilot’s eye view I’ve seen. Many thanks.
Thanks for watching, your great feedback! Welcome to the channel!
That was a smooth landing
Thanks!
I used to watch BEA DC3's & Viscounts on this approach from my school playing field which can still be seen in Balsall Common, in the late 1950's / early 60's!
Thanks for watching and for sharing your personal experience. Have a nice day!
I was the tower controller you were speaking too!
Thanks for the good work!
Great video - loved the way the places overflown were noted
Thanks for the friendly feedback!!
Great video of my local airport, if possible could I request you do a new video showing the instrumentation? Thanks :) I can even wave at you from the end of the runway if I know when you're landing!
Thanks for watching and for your support of the channel! I hope to be scheduled soon again to Birmingham. Then I - for sure - will try to record a new video with instrumentation and charts. It may take some time. Please stay tuned! Happy New Year!
Thank you and Happy New year :)
It is like the Krypton Factor!
I love watching your videos of take-offs, landing of different airports. I was just wondering will you be coming back to BHX to do a more up to date video. Its so much better seeing the captain and first officer with the cockpit view as well.
Thanks for watching and the good feedback! As soon as I am scheduled again to Birmingham, I try to record and publish a video in the new format. As always, it may take a while. Please stay tuned. Have a nice day!
@@ApproachandDepartureVideos Many thanks for your lovely words I think I’ve almost watched 90% of your videos. Really enjoy watching. I look forwards to you making another video for BHX and will stay tuned, waiting. Thank you
Warwickshire is a lovely part of the world.
Thanks for watching and for sharing your feedback!
Beautiful ❤
Thanks!
Never realised it was half in the countryside
Thanks for watching and for sharing your observation!
ahhh... i see they've done a lot of work at the end of the runway for us spotters to not have to sit at the side of the road... which was a cool thing to do back in the late 90s when i was younger... doing the whole "waynes world" thing, me and the missus used to sit on the bonnet of the car and let the planes go over :D
Thanks for watching and your very personal feedback! Some airports have really nice spotting locations. Years ago, I have been to a nice location in San Diego in California. There is a building with an upstairs parking lot underneath the very short final. I have been told that in between it is closed for the general public.
@@ApproachandDepartureVideos yea. At bhx back in the mid 90s, they had an observation deck on top of the terminals with the tower playing over the speakers. Then when I had a car as I say, I would sit there for hours across the Coventry road in the field (which is where that mound is now).
Super smooth landing - Liked the way we saw a plane take off whilst taxiing - by the pilot's and first officer's accents, could the airline be Lufthansa?
Hi Barbara, thanks for the feedbck and the question. Due to privacy reasons, I cannot release the name and the origin of the airline. I hope to be able to change this in the near future.
Just to give you an update here, the airline is Eurowings. Eurowings belongs to Lufthansa group. So your guessing about the origin had been correct. All the best to you!
Best seat in the plane ;)
Thats right! There is no seat with a better view than the 2 pilot seats.
Hmm what do you know 2:22 I live in Leamington spa 🤫🤫🤫
Greetings to Leamington spa!
Are you still flying?
Yes, I am. But not today. Merry Christmas
Wich airline?
Thank you for the question. For privacy reasons, I do not release the name of the airline. I am sorry that I cannot give you a better answer today. But this may change in the future. Please stay tuned.
Eurowings.
@@ApproachandDepartureVideos thanks!
