F23 is a fierce lady and if she carries a wound from an aerial battle, woe to the eagle that tangled with her. Hopefully it will be nothing but an inconvenience and she heals quickly. Indeed many thanks to MLiz & other ground crew for the photo coverage!👍 I saw that open wound this afternoon. I'd like to think she will maybe go to the river and soak her foot in the salt water. Poor mama beast, someone should did hook into her. Very relieved she & mini beast came home safe other than that. Plus I've noticed a few signs of the molting season beginning where eagles' power, strength & stamina will be tested. 💙🦅🙏Hopefully things will quiet down because of that soon. Thx LadyHawk💖

I think the injury will heal itself quickly, F took herself to the pond to bathe, and I agree that salt water from the river will be the best move. If this was caused by an altercation with another eagle, pity them. We have had many chats over the last year or so regarding the many strengths of lady F, and her ferociousness is clear to see. She took the role of security director very seriously, and will continue to do so. She knows that this is part and parcel of being part of the dream team with M. Got to say that E23, or little Miss dracula as I sometimes call her, is more that up for flushing out an intruder. well done eagle family.

I believe it's safe to say that F23 got this somewhat serious foot injury by the young female who may have been back in the area after M and E23 chased her off yesterday. She is interested in M15 and it will be up to F23 to fight her off since we know most females fight females and males tend to fight males. I was pretty concerned when I saw this injury Lady Hawk as F23 has grown pretty important to me. Thanks LH for covering this. I will pray for this injury to heal quickly and without complications for the last thing we need is an infection or bumblefoot🙏✝️💜🦅

Only 27 years ago there were! But then.... Cut forests, builders buildings -buildings MONEY MONEY CORRUPTION ... 👹☠️🤬

If anybody interested Xcel energy Ft St Vrain eagle cam has 3 two day old chicks. Makes up for Jackie & Shadow. These cams are solar powered. They are on their 50 th eaglet.
Momma 23 has a lot to fight for and she will bring it if persuaded. Don't mess with the New Queen of the Pasture
