@grovey grace Ok, but this actually sounds good. I mean, some things are not up for debate. She hit all the right notes and everything is there. I think we're getting a bit lost in this "everything is subjective" thing. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but that doesn't change facts. So if anyone's having a different opinion about this, they shouldn't be offended. It's not their fault, because their ears are broken.

This songs great and still never have not a clue where I first heard it. Never did research. Was like 8 years ago. I'm afraid to listen to their other stuff because I might not like it. I'm a rock n metal head at heart but I do acid jazz lofi and ambient on my free time. If they have more than one album out what would you reccomend to start with? I'm amazed at how simple it is but makes me drift back into a good good day.

Didn't think I could appreciate this song more than I already do but the subtle instrumental changes here, especially the decision to bring the wind/chime-type sounds forward, adds even more depth to an already profound and unsettling song. There's a murky texture in this performance that speaks to Little Dragon's maturity and, as ever, the timeless resonance of Yukimi's voice. I've listened to this song hundreds of times and have gotten to know it very well. I still always feel like I can never predict the next note, and I think that's why I keep returning. Every listen feels like the first time; every listen feels familiar. What a gift they continue to give us.
"Unsettling" and "murky" are the perfect ways to describe this song. I love it.
