I love the lyrics in a lot of your songs man, they leave a pretty good impact, very hard thing to find nowadays.
I feel like the teacher was probably the one who planted the bomb. Here's why:
1. In "Idol Bombing," the teacher says:
I was there when it happened.
No-one saw it get planted.
Which is a little bit weird. While this isn't irrefutable evidence, the song hadn't yet said that a bomb was "planted" anywhere. In addition, "no one saw it get planted" is something a criminal might say, like: "no one saw our faces."
2. Detective Detective joined the idol group. Why? We know something from the song "Detective Detective":
See, this is my special move:
I put myself in your shoes.
D.D. clearly found the Star Blush Girls suspicious (for obvious reasons) and decided to join them. Realizing that none of the actual members of the Star Blush Girls (including the manager) planted the bomb, he decided to bring the Star Blush Girls to the teacher's cabin to investigate there. While this wouldn't have been suspicious normally, the teacher actually showed up with a different group, possibly as a way to make it so that D.D. couldn't get what he was looking for.
3. The teacher is described as being a "young genius and part-time inventor" in his "When the Darkness Comes" file. While this isn't proof of guilt, it is proof that the teacher had the capacity to set up the bomb and fire it remotely. Of course, that doesn't explain the match, but it could've been a decoy, even one triggered remotely.
I'm sure there's also more that other people have found.
Unanswered questions:
- The teacher should know that Detective Detective is always going to be manipulating people in order to find the truth. Does he think he can beat Detective Detective, or is there something else going on?
- What was the teacher's incentive for bombing the stage? It could be that he actually supports Meteor and knew Star Blush could beat Meteor, but something still seems off.
- Why would the teacher give Detective Detective the keys to the cabin knowing that D.D. was still trying to solve this crime?
Possible alternative:
Perhaps the teacher was not the one who planted the bomb, but knew that the bomb would be planted. This would mean that the teacher and Star Blush crew would all be innocent. This would also explain why the teacher gave the cabin key to Detective Detective: He wanted to show D.D. the Meteor idol group. This is further supported by D.D. telling the Star Blush Girls "they're the ones that gave your alibi." Detective Detective would not actually be lying if a member of Meteor or the teacher facilitating Meteor had planted the bomb. This explanation would answer all of the unanswered questions, but it would conflict with evidence #3, and I find it weird that the teacher would be specifically referred to as a "young genius" and "inventor" if it were not relevant. It also doesn't make much sense with evidence #1, although that line could mean "no one _saw_ it get planted."
Okay, actually I reaallly don't wanna rewrite this whole thing but after writing that possible alternative I actually think that it's more likely that someone affiliated with Meteor (the other teacher?) is the one that planted the bomb than that our beloved black-haired engineering friend did it.

I think the one who lit the match was Star blush Girls manager as in the "I'm sorry" song at the campfire thing he looks at his hand. So I feel like he was coerced. So my guess is the bomber is a three man team of Nero, The teacher, and the manager as an accomplice. Either that or he just felt guilty that the idol group he manages fell from grace for something they didn't do.

Absolutely love the mystery sub-plot in this series of songs! Detective Detective showed me the premise to what could be a great mystery anime and seeing what you're doing is awesome! I can't wait for the next song and to learn what happens next!

Yeah that'd be really awesome! I don't expect it but it'd still be really really cool.
I was planing on running a campaign to raise money to completely animate all of the songs from start to finish... like a 1 hour long animated movie but with songs.
I'm not sure I would have enough backing for it, though, at this point. ^^
We'll see where I'm at once the series is finished. =)

Well... I originally didn't know I was doing a large story when I made the first two songs. lol... Otherwise I would have done some casting. So my next series will, for sure, have voice acting and such...
As for this one, I think i'll Likely just have it go from one song to the next... but animated well so that everything is explained through visuals better than the lyrics, alone. ^^

Yeah. I wanted to have different voices for different characters, but it was already too late for that by the time i realized i was making a series... and so i didn't want to just mess it all up by throwing new voices in the middle of the story. lol

Ok, so after replaying the song a couple times for fun here's what I think the story is all about so far, half of this is really obvious so ya know, just go with me.
EP1: Introduces my favorite character Detective Detective busting what I think is an inside bank job. As we can see he is a totally badass Detective with a great sense of deduction (Ya know like all good Detectives are supposed to have). He destroys crime from the inside of the criminals mind, he describes this himself.
EP2: Our "Protagonist" if you will wants to start his own music club but gets swept into the Star Blush Girls group via danger of club dissolve, they decide he won't fit on stage because he's a guy but the idea of him being their Manager and writing their songs is accepted.
EP3: An idol group performing at an event (or competition I have no idea) gets bombed before they perform. The Star Blush Girls are suspicious due to clues found by DD. However they cannot be convicted due to lack of sufficient evidence. According to Humanitarian rules a suspect cannot be help unless they are proven guilty or something like that. Point is Star Blush Girls don't go to jail. The character representing the Teacher was present at the bombing. At least I think the guy with the orange jacket is the Teacher please correct me if I am wrong.
EP4: This one is sort of a mystery to me. What I can assume is happening is our protagonist is opening up to the girls more but like EVERY OTHER TEENAGER such as myself he has doubts (Conflicting thoughts doubting the girls friendship). DD walks in the clubroom and informs the group what's happening in relation to their suspicion correlating with the Bombing Situation, the boy closes the song addressing he still has doubts but still wants to give the girls a legitimate shot I guess.
EP6?: Considering this is an episode ahead we still have a lot to observe and aren't completely 100% lost as to what's going on. DD doesn't want to be the Bad Guy he says it himself. The Teacher (Orange Jacket Guy I assume) gave DD the keys to his cabin and the group gets away and has some fun for a while. I think that this is DD's way of comforting the kids considering many people are convinced they bombed an event (And I don't think I need to mention how bad rumors get in High School, trust me I am in it right now). However like all good things the fun ends when the Teacher walks in (seriously I need conformation I am driving myself insane, I might be stupid so just help me out XD). He informs the gang that he is training a Teacher from another school and introduces them to the Idol group Meteor who look up to the Star Blush Girls with admiration. DD lets them know these girls gave their alibi during the bombing, basically lowkey guaranteeing their safety in terms of legality. DD tells the gang sorry one more time and the song ends.
Alright, now maybe EP5 tells the story of Meteor and their Teacher? I don't know this is just speculation. I appreciate the fact that DD is attempting to comfort the group despite their suspicion and the malice and hate that they are presumably given in school.

The reason i love your music so much is because it opens a series of emotions for the characters in the story and a mystery that we can't solve which makes it tense for us to wait for the next to come out hoping for more clues.

Anyone who's played dangan ronpa (and did well. Duh) should already have pieced together who the bomber is. Granted, that's only if static-p doesn't add a new character suddenly. Not giving the answer because that would take the gun out of it. (that and static might actually be a god with detective stories and comes up with the best ending ever, completely shattering who I thought the bomber was)
Fun* as far as I can piece together, a gun wasn't necessary for the crime.

(possibly working with the other people that might have done it) now he's the one that said, "no one saw it get planted" in idol bombing. this could be irrelevant because there's enough evidence saying he did it anyways. according to detective, the star blush girls (hereafter known as SBG) were on stage when it happened, and the dynamite would be in their backpacks. one of few people that had access to these bags BEFORE they got there would have been the red shirt guy. (don't know if he actually has a name) now this is fairly suspicious, but it also doesn't help that he tries to seem like a good guy by giving them the keys to the beach house. by doing this, he helps clear any suspicions and gives him an opening for something else, bringing meteor to the beach house "accidentally" which is a pretty bad lie because if you think about it, there's not way he forgot (partially because his main keys were given to SBG). now, the other group comes in. meteor "might" have done it as well. as for how they got the dynamite in the bags, I wouldn't know, which is one reason they could be working together. now they came to the beach house as a way to clear their own reputation as a possible suspect or at least related to the crime. they came so that someone (detective) would say that they're good for giving the SBG alibis.
now that's a lot of talking and rambling. but now for motive. simple enough. meteor is new. they had little to no experience and thus, wouldn't win the competition. red shirt guy made a deal with them. (not sure of what was offered to him yet.) so he followed. they decided to do it when SBG was up because they needed to boost their credibility, so by making SBG look guilty, then providing an alibi, they're giving themselves more reputation to the SBG. which would make them less of a suspect. there we go. done. entire theory (well most of it, I missed some points, probably)
