At the beginning you mentioned that you are 'connecting' to the shapefile using the MAPIMPORT command. This is not specifically correct as to connect to the shapefile, one would have to establish an FDO connection. MAPIMORT simply imports the data into Autocad objects.
I am also having the same problem. The objects (in my case it is parcel information) are imported, but they come in as polygons without the data. Any luck getting it to work?
I think it only works for shape files that have points in them- not sure how to do the same things for data that comes in with polylines. You also want to check the box that says import as closed polylines instead of polygons. Have you figured this out in the past 4 years :)
Very nice, Jerry. You always show some really valuable information. Thanks.
Very nice, Jerry. Thanks!!!
Extremely helpful video. Thank You.
Hi how did you do that block what he showed at 3:00?
Always some thing new from you Jerry
..👌👌👌👌👌
Hi how did you do that block what he showed at 3:00?
How do you create the block with the various attributes?
That could be useful if you would show how did you do the block with those attributes

Thank you Bartels for the video.
After those blocks have been created, is it possible to bring all this information into a csv file?
Yes, use dataextraction and select the block plus its attributes. It should be relatively easy
Stefano Verugi thank you. I’m going to do it
@@StefanoVerugi Stefano, thank you so much for the answer. It was very kind from you. Sorry my delay.

I can't get this to work for me, unfortunately. Just keeps bringing it in as polygons with no blocks.
