  • If you've ever played the Eventide H9, you've probably fallen in love with their Black Hole algorithm. Their Dot 9 series takes their most beloved algos and turns them into stand-alone stereo pedals that pack a lot for their small, pedalboard-power-friendly footprint.

    Okay wow, wow, I can see why you rated it so highly. Microcosm’s reverb has a lot of space to it, but this thing SINGS!

    Blackholes absorb vibrational information as well , but it’s Eventide so I’ll allow it.

      They release it into the universe too via gravitational waves! Massively subsonic frequencies though.

    I have heard great things about this reverb.. but wow maybe 2023 will have me explore this one. I’ve been wondering if I will find a reverb to dethrone big sky. Really great examples and it sounds soo soo good

    I’m really on the fence about getting this one. I’ve been looking at reverb for weeks and want to make that jump.
    You got me off the fence a while back about getting a Squier Baritone Tele, and it changed the way I love playing guitar.
    I went from trying to riff it out and now because of playing with delays, swells, and my amp’s reverb, I’ve started to evolve into something else.

    Which do you like more? The blackhole or the fx40?

    • @GetOffset
      @GetOffset  Год назад +1

      They're very different. If you want absolute shoe gaze simplicity that sounds killer, FX-40. If you want options, presets, and wild sounds, Blackhole.
