- The C330 is an incredible camera for the money. With the rising costs of film, value matters. In this episode, we explore the C330 with some Kodak Portra 800 & Ilford Delta 400. We check out my favorite two C330 lenses - The 105mm f/3.5 and the 180mm f/4.5.

What do you like to shoot on your Mamiya C330? Tell me in the comments.
8:39 looks great. It’s as if she is about to change into her Wonder Woman costume.
thanks. She did amazing
Thanks for this! I ordered a Mamiya C3 just last night with a 135mm lens and I'm stoked to get rolling with it. My 3rd ever film camera and 1st ever medium format camera. Awesome shots!
Have fun!
Great video. Thank you. This week I received a C330 with all the lenses and in great shape.
Thank you. I hope your enjoy it.
I use my C330 with the 65 mm lens and porro for press photography type shots. HP5 film. Rodinal developer and my home Darkroom enlarger with a Schneider Componon S 100mm F5.6 lens. Real old school serious workflow.
I have a bottle of Rodinal. A little more grainy, but a lot cheaper, for sure.
Just picked up the C220. Great images, great camera! I shoot mostly scenic images but would love to try portraits!
Thanks! Enjoy!
THESE SHOTS ARE AMAZING! I THINK YOU'VE JUST PLANTED THE SEED IN MY HEAD, TO GET ANOTHER C330... SO I TOO, CAN HAVE 2 C330'S!!!🤣🤣🤣
Thank you. There is no such thing as too many cameras.
one way to think of the 100, 105,110 & 120 lenses in the MF format, is they are the 60-85 mm lenses, or the "wide" macro lenses, esp. in 6x6 hasselblad world.
Definitely a good way to think of it.
Generally on a 6x6 the "crop" is 0.5
Great video! You know I am a sucker for anything C330! This is the bad boy I took to a wedding and engagement shoot. The clients loved it. It’s always just my go to film camera.
Definitely my favorite walk around medium format camera. My tennis elbow appreciates it. Thanks for watching!
The Mamiya c330 is a Beast, but it's a Beauty as well...
I also have two (both c330 f's) and 5 lenses (55, 80, 105, 135 and 180)
I've had lots of MF cameras down the years (including Hasselblad, RB67, Bronica, Rollei etc.) but I always go back to the c330.
To me the image quality of the Mamiya lenses are just as good as the likes of Hasselblad, but at a fraction of the price.
It beats the Rollei on versatility (interchangeable lenses and close focusing) and the Bronica on lens sharpness and battery independence.
Sure it's a bit heavy and "clunky" compared to some, but for price, image quality and versatility it simply cannot be beaten IMO.
Nice video BTW, some great shots, a pretty model and two c330's. Thanks for posting!
Thank you. As someone who owns a Hasselblad 500CM, I agree that the C330 lenses are just as good.
Loved this video
I have the C330 and the Mamiyaflex (C2) I like them a lot, very fun to shoot with
thanks for the kind words! It's fun to take a break from gear reviews and just go out and shoot.
Two film stocks = two bodies: sheer fucking genius!😂
I’ve had my C330 for about three months and I’m steadily falling in love with this brilliantly designed camera. Just started shopping around for body number 2 now. 😊😊
When life gives you lemons......
I got lucky on my second C330. Some guy in my town was selling it for way cheaper than it was worth. Opportunity knocked and I seized it.
What a blast from my past... I had C22, C33, C220 and the C330 bodies... wow! Honestly I don't miss film shooting... but cool to see them in use in 2023...
It’s definitely a slow process. It’s what I learned on. I can’t shake that nostalgia.
I did quite a few weddings with that camera. It was a beast, once you got used to it it was a snap. Thanks for the memories.
You bet!
I love my c300. I have used it for years just the same way as you. I will often use my digital camera to meter. And you are correct, it can save your rear-end when you screw up.
I've only lost a couple of rolls over the past few years from stupid mistakes like opening up my tank because I forgot I put a roll of film in it. Boy, it sure was a good thing I took shots in digital so I had something to give to the model. lol
Amen, I just shot my first roll of Fuji pro 400H in a hasselblad 500c\m and did the same, used a digital (nikon z6) to meter, plus you can also use the histogram for metering, to check out where the tones lie, also the data is usefull to record how you did the shot, also write it down, or on a phone message to oneself, to know how you shot it, and with what, so any mistakes can be corrected with metering, lens issues (shutter timing, apature sticking etc); or just to see wether the film 'look' was right for the scene (in your own eyes).
Definitely. It's super helpful to know you're settings. Thanks for the watch!
awesome love the shots
Thanks a ton! I was happy with them!
Nice pictures! I've shot almost exclusively with my Mamiya C3 for the past three years. It's chunky but the quality makes it worth lugging around. The lenses are pretty small though so it makes it easy to bring a few different focal lengths along, which is definitely unique for a TLR.
Thank you! They are fun cameras.
I've had a C2 since last summer... My first film camera. It takes some amazing images. So far I have run Portra 400 and Ilford HP5 400 through it, but will be running Delta 400 in it for images at my sis-in-laws wedding.
Nice!
I use my C 330 F and love it
Nice!
Been using mine for close to a year now! Mostly just shoot casually; friends and family. Intrigued to take it into a studio and see what it's capable in that setting. Recently got a Mamiya 645, but it feels so inferior to the c330. Maybe I need to swap the 645 in for a RB67. Need to do more research around Polaroid backs, as I know they've been discontinued.
Go check out my videos on the RB67. I even do one on how to use it in a studio with a flash. It’s a sick camera.
Thanks for the watch!
Man... I have the fever and the GAS... haha... I shoot a Fuji GFX and have a Mamiya 80 2.8 N that is beautiful on the beast. So, I've been thinking of just picking up a 645 body. But this C330 is so intriguing... ugh! If you're ever stuck with the fact that you own, two... well, it's an easy drive from Houston! ;) Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Kevin!
It's a fantastic system. I too have the GAS and shoot on the GFX. Fun system. I MAY be getting a Hasselblad and if I do, that will just about guarantee I will be parting with one of my C330's. It's a fun little camera that produces incredible photos.
Thanks for the watch!

Not bad but one thing hate seeing trees growing out of the head.
We all have that one thing that bugs us.
Love the b&w shots you did. I shoot a c330 and a Minolta A9. Mostly landscapes and objects. I used to do portraits back when I only shot digital.
Thanks for the kind words. Never used the A9. Might need to check it out!
