    Great informative video! Question: How come your volume went from 3.3 L to 1 L ish after filtration? Did you evaporate some water? Also that snow ball, is that NaCl? or KNO3? Thank for the great video

    Does the solder from the contacts contain silver as well? I have nearly identical silver plated arms which I have already removed and processed contacts. There is still a lot of solder on the arms.

      Soldering material should be removed as it will degrade the result and quality.

      Even if I calculate under 1%, you should get around 400g minimum.

    How do you know there are silver in those plate or contact

    • @qwethengoldrecovery

      You can buy a set for testing silver, or you can visit the manufacturer's description of the brand, the contact material and the coating on it. In addition, there are several ways to find out, use a browser.

    why the nitric is added to sulphuric?

    • @qwethengoldrecovery
      @qwethengoldrecovery  Год назад +2

      Saltpeter dissolves silver. Saltpetre also dissolves copper. Sulfuric acid does not dissolve copper, so the process stops after the silver dissolves if the proportions are correct.

    • @knowldedge5012
      @knowldedge5012 Год назад

      @@qwethengoldrecovery this might be the best way to process contacts, the easiest. The proportions seem to be 1:50

      @@qwethengoldrecovery I tried several times to make such a filter from medical cotton but it did not work very well, your seems to be a rolled bandage pushed in, cotton I assume.

      @@knowldedge5012 Yes, and I push it in hard, then when I check it drips, the liquid is clear, then it works properly. I use these because their warranty has expired, so they are free.

      Video de demostración, por lo que hay muchas personas cercanas al color plateado. No obstante, se presentó un proceso completo de procesamiento. Gracias por compartir tu opinión.
