Cast of 'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’ Gives Fans Secrets from the Set

- “Extra” Special Correspondent Olivia Weissler checked out the Albuquerque, New Mexico set of “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials,” where she chatted with the cast, including Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Giancarlo Esposito, and Rosa Salazar, about what fans can expect from the action-packed sequel.
“The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” runs in theaters on September 18.

I really don't like Rosa Salazar to be Brenda, it's not only because she does not have long hair. And I don't think she quit fit this character. But whatever, she's a great actress and I know she would do a great job in this film.
OMG! CANT WAIT! I'm actually excited to see Jorge be Brenda's father. I think that gives it more emotion and more of a connection and a past between the two characters.
The producer confirmed that he is not in fact her father, he was just implying they had a father daughter relationship
He's not her father, they are not even family. They just meet a long time ago. That's why they have an incredible and wonderful connection.
Brenda isn't Jorge's daughter! Jorge is a crank that lives in the Scorch, he is the leader of the Cranks to be exact and Brenda is his assistant/member of his group.
Ya, but jorge is like a dad to her in the book. The need to protect her and the bond they share is like father and daughter:)

Well in this book, The Scorch Trials, when I read it I kinda hate Teresa so much! If you all haven't read the book, you wouldn't understand why.... Even Thomas himself hated her.😱

im confused they say that by having terasa go with them opens up the character more and you get to learn about the character. But in the book she didn't go with them and yo still knew alot about the character. :S
I think it's because in the books you read a lot of Thomas's dreams, which feature Teresa. However, since the plot and scenes are different in this movie, I don't think Thomas is going to black out or sleep as much, therefore, won't see his dreams. I have no idea how they're going to develop her character without his dreams, but I think it'll be interesting :)

Buckles Life No actually she doesn't you are both wrong! Teresa is immune and she doeant sacrifice herself for Thomas. She dies at the end of The Death Cure when they all are going through the 'portal thing' and a large ceiling tile and walls etc fall and Teresa get's stuck under it and dies.
No, she does sacrifice herself. She pushed Thomas out of the way bc the roof fell and it was going to kill him and since she lost his trust at the end of scorch trials she feels the need to sacrifice herself:) this happens at the end of death cure, now I feel like the nerd😂😂

Margarett Veritas It's actually pretty annoying. Ki-Hong is such a great guy but he just doesn't seem to get enough credit for the central role he plays as Minho.
