More psychology of money/trading would be phenomenal
Taking a loss is a hurdle but one of the best feelings when you take it. You end up realizing that you could've lost much more if you didn't take the loss early.
That was me today!
Love these videos where you just show the entire thought process during a specific trade, you dont need to reveal something completely new every time, like a new strategy os something, just show how you went through with one of the strategies you already use, awesome!
This might be the best advice about trading on all of RUclips.
Yes, more trading psychology. I am just starting week 2 of peachy Gold, and I feel like this info is going to help me learn less painfully :)
do you think the course/discord is worth the 150$ a month?
I'm in week 4 and I love the course. Even these pop-up nuggets of info are so useful. Thanks as always.
@@Sffker I'm just starting out, so I don't know that I can give you answer based on a lot of experience, but so far I'm very happy with how it's going. Could I have found all the information out there without paying for it... possibly, but spending the money to save the time it would take its definitely worthwhile for me.
@@alanbarnes4991 Is the course mainly videos? Do you have access to the entire course upfront to do at your own speed or is it week by week? edit: I just found a vide on the website which explains that it is self paced, so that is nice.
Love this topic. One of the best videos I’ve watched. I trade pretty well but struggle the most with stopping out. I think every trade entry I make is correct so it’s difficult to accept defeat on that trade. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Thanks for the video. Changing your gratification from following your plan and not increasing P&L is essential but something that many people struggle with. Would absolutely love more videos on the psychology aspect.
Yes, some days seem so easy and then it can turn choppy and brutal. I have to step back at those times and watch pattern formation and look for reactions to support and resistance. Sometimes I sit back and think wow I'm totally fighting the favorable trends.
Great thoughts on limiting emotion. I think it's a life long quest - at least for me!
Thanks much!
if you dont see a order block thats in reach and its choppy, dont touch it!
I just made a comment on psychology and then I came across this :-) You sound so much like me, the struggles I went through and the hard lesson that I learned. It is so refreshing to hear someone articulate their experience. Thank you!
Having the entries, take profit and stop loss drawn out on the chart has helped me so much!!! That's all because of YOUUUU :) I can't thank you enough for these videos❤
Love these videos! I'm trying to grow a small account to learn the process but I'm up and down. This is like the new version of think and grow rich!
Dear Peachy Investor,
I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for all the valuable lessons you've shared with me regarding trading. Your insights and expertise have been incredibly helpful in shaping my understanding of the market.
I also wanted to commend you on your positive attitude, even on days when the trades don't go as planned. Your motivational videos have truly made a difference in my approach to trading and have helped me stay focused and motivated.
Thank you for all that you do and for being such an inspiring figure in the trading community.
Best regards,
Dali
Thank you, Brittney! Very useful video.
And yes, I will be happy to see this dopamine video 😊
Loving the psychology. We need to hear more of it!
YES MORE of this please. You do so well being detailed an honest. Thanks for the great videos.
I have never seen another trading video talk about being a good looser. I am able to identify myself with the way you started. You did good in sharing your experiences with us and not be afraid to admit to your mistakes. I have learned how to learn myself psychologically. Thank you!
Great Job! Took me two years to learn how to keep my powder dry and be able to fight another day, consistently being the key word.
Thank you! Great stuff and lovely voice and wisdom. Much appreciated.
A few weeks ago I had asked for an example of a losing trade. This is exactly what I wanted to see. We all work on becoming winning traders but there isn't enough out there on how to handle losing trades to limit loses. Great video! More on this topic please.
thank you for everything you do to help us.. I follow other highly successful traders but im also grateful for how you explain things to help improve our trading. keep enjoying your travel life !
I am fascinated by trading psychology so yes! more on that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
You’re awesome!!! Thanks so much for all the help and info!
I will put in a vote of “YES” for more videos on trading psychology 👍🏼
Would love more Trading Psych videos. I'm SMD in the discord- took a small win on the BAC scalp following the strategy. Great reminders in this video- thank you!
Really liked this! So happy to have found your channel.
Needed this today. Thank you!
My Mantra… win big and lose small. Cutting losers as soon as the ‘uh-oh’ connection from your heart (emotions) reaches your brain (reasoning) becomes automatically conditioned in your trading strategy as the number one priority stressful trading disappears. Don’t fight it. Make it become a habit that is your armor.
This is SOLID advice! I've been there. Lost WAY too much by not sticking to the rules. Trading is not gambling. AT ALL COSTS, manage your risk. Devise a plan and follow it. NO EXCEPTIONS! Discipline, Discipline, Discipline!!! Ignore this advice and you will give your money to the other market participants. Markets are efficient in that way.
Well done. Great video. I used to trade but the emotions got to me after a whole bunch of stuff went wrong in life... Anyway I'd like to watch more on the psychology you want to explain 😊
👏👍Completely on point. I still struggle with it at times, but the more that is rules based and decided BEFORE the trade happens, the less emotionally involved you are in the trade. Levels, target and stop is a huge part of it. And if your target isn't more than your stop loss before the trade, ask yourself if its even a good opportunity (Spoiler: Its not).
Whatever you do, please don't fall for the trap of lowering your stop loss as the trade falls, or even worse, trying to cost-average down. Catching a falling knife will blow your account. The worst of this is when you get REWARDED for this kind of bad trading by lucking out with a rally. You think you got out of it with a profit, but you actually just set yourself up to be a worse trader and face an even bigger loss down the line. Your stops should give your trade room to move, but they need to be fixed. Risk management is key.
Brittney I would like to learn more about cross addicting my dopamine fix to something less self sabotaging & more on the productivity side. Thanks for all the good help.
Thank you. You touched all of us about being x-ray honest and real about unwinding from an L trade. It just seems so hard to let go of a loser trade which then turns into a disaster trade
risk management is key, thanks for sharing this, and yes I would like to know more about psychology!
you're a great coach. starting to take responsibility and understand risk and leverage.
Thanks. This is something I am currently working on.
Thank You! This is such an important video
Hey appreciating you girly! This is a great video. Lose well and gain the world.
Great video! It seems counter intuitive but true. It is the losses, not the wins that keep you from being a successful trader! I would also be interested in a video on trading psychology.
Thank you. This one hits home
Yes! Love the psychology, will watch for more!
I'm a new trader learned that lesson with SPY this past Friday. Lesson learned, won't happen again!
I’d love to hear more about trading phycology from you, keep it up 💯
That was me at the 8:00 mark! Brittney has the best community 🧡
YES! Thank you for telling people about this. Revenge trade is my middle name... My rules now are - 2 losing trades in a row and I am done for the session (includes break evens). Period. I also only allow myself 4 trades a day so that I have to pick them carefully.
Maaan this is gold. I blew up my account "averaging down" into losing positions that never ever came back. Learnt a very expensive lesson on psychology...
another great video. thank you for taking the time to make these.
You got me good.
I will change. Thank you for the info. I will change right away.
Another great upload/vid, !...covering the full pic/spectrum, psychology.timing ,and the motives in the trade, BTW you know you are chart mindined when you try to swipe/crosshair on the chart in your vid-like I just did LOL! Long day w the SPY today...
I needed to hear this today. Thank you.
Excelente teaching video today tks. Very important tks. So much keep doing it
lol. I had this feeling so many times. One day Up and next day Down. Keep going, you're getting better.
Peachy, I really admire you for talking about your trading mistakes . Everything you say here is so true !! In trading the best loser...wins !!
I believe you should speak more about this topic you've said a lot of good points that made sense I personally am going through that problem of losing my gains and I knows its me letting my emotion get the best of me but definitely a topic that needs to spoken more often thank you for the advise..
I would like more videos on trading psychology. I recently joined and enjoy your content.
Nice lesson on importance of drawing out your plan (levels) but more importantly having the discipline to take action when those levels are breached. This also applies for entering positions. For example, going long $29 puts would have been nice Thursday morning after the failed breakout from 21 Mar high (left side of cup) and I think you mentioned you looked at puts but tape was too fast to make a trade. Does your platform provide a way to tie an option trade to underlying stock price, for example when BAC stock broke $29, open a long $29 put position?
Absolutly enjoyed this video. Please continue with trading psychology videos!
Perfect Teaching - Thanks Brittney!
100% Correct! We most definitely need to take our losses with our wins, it's all part of trading! The sooner we learn to deal with loss the better we can do overall & always use a stop-loss
insanely good video, interested to learn more about trading psychology
Much needed video! Thanks!
Live to trade another day. I’m on the journey to rebuild my account. I had a great day today and I’m taking the rest of the month off to study and wait for another great setup.
I needed to hear this. Yes, please do one on psychology.
Would definitely like to hear more on this Brittany. So, did you step aside from BAC for the day after this trade? Or even stop trading for the day? Nice content. Thanks.
Thanks for the video. I learned to be a better loser once my account got down to under $2k. I was determined to never blow an account so I stopped doing dumb things like staying in trades that have gone against me hoping/thinking that price will come back, etc. It's funny how just about hitting rock bottom can light a fire under you! I have to say, though, that losing teaches me things I need to learn just like winning does but I don't ever want to lose a lot again.
Enjoyed the content!!
Great video ! I can relate to this
Very good advice. In Forex this is known as revenge trading when you lose and irrationally try to get the lost profit back by trading just about any setup and usually over leveraged. It's all about emotional control and trusting your system and yourself.
Looks like going into trading and getting good at it equals with taking an intensive course on knowing yourself.
This subject is the title of a very good book by a very well known big trader, “Best Looser Wins” by Tom Hougaard. Thank you for presenting this very important principle with your examples.
Yes. More trading psychology.... please.
Hey Peachy! I am at that stage of my trading career where I am starting to think and action some of the psychological aspects. So feel free to do more of these types of videos. Cheers!
Hi Peachy!
Glad that I came across your channel because I'm a day trader as well, mostly on stocks and futures, and I'm so overdue with an idea to work while traveling, but the internet speed is a dilemma for me. I'm very interested to find out your methods to trade remotely and what is the maximum number of charts, time frames, etc., you have tried to work with without sacrificing the data feed speeds and if you had any of the latencies.
Thank you!
One of best videos about trading.
nice ***yes for more videos on trading psycholog
Loss: 50
Loss 65
Loss 40
Loss 86
Win 440.
Win 170
I lose more than I win. But I win more than I lose.
A bad habit of mine is to NOT use stop losses. I refuse to use them because way too many times it takes me out then continues in the direction I wanted. Death by 1,000 cuts. I have done so much better without them but blow up accounts a lot because of it. I can't find a good balance. Almost calling it quits. I lost a lot. No charting and no technique will ever let you know what the market will do. I will rip saw around and take you out with or without stops. Love the channel.
Geek out' Love It. Dopamine??? ok. Learning the mindset is paramount. Great video. Peace : )
Great advice ⭐️🌟✨
Banks collapsing good stuff had me dying laughing 😂 great video ! Thank you
Excellent video thank you
I do the same...thanks for the video
Excellent video. Thanks
Great video peachy Can we get more videos on the psychology of trading that helped you?
Your a great teacher
You should have just said, “Jerry, this video is for you!” This is GREAT content and what I’m struggling with now. Hard stops from here on, with no moving or removing them! I want to be a good loser like you! 😊
Outstanding Video. I place a $10-$15 Stop loss Per Contract. I usually Trade 10- 20 Contracts at a time My Winners far outpace my Losers. But it took awhile for me to learn not to violate my own rules. 😂
Love this! I have this issue. I also struggle with trading while working a full-time job. I want to practice trading so many times I get FOMO on some setups during a tight timeframe...most of the times it becomes a loser. Did you ever had this problem?
Thank you!
thank you !!
Love this video. Do you have a community of trading options.
Great and much needed video🙏🧞♀️🙏
Yes on the trading psychology 👍🤘
I am new to your channel...and I love your videos...Been trading for over 20 years. Can I make one suggestion...Can you do Picture in Picture?....It would be great to literally see you talking to us (bottom right or left of the screen). I believe it will grow your channel...Thanks
as you said, the market i.e. casino is always there and its not gonna let you make big profits every day, be thankful for your big winners but for me, trading less after having the is super important. i trade options - mostly on earnings plays 4 times a year and that's enough volume and volatlity for me to stay in the game. less truly is more for me. good luck to my fellow peachy fans !!!
Something that takes a while to accept is that if your contracts lose 50%, from that point they should go up 100% just to be in breakeven, thanks for sharing dear colleague
It's NOT a bold statement, it's a 100% TRUE statement. It is most definitely 90% psychology, you are your own worst enemy in trading.
I have watched myself do something in trading AS I'm saying out loud, "Don't do it!" It's incomprehensible, it's like there's a stranger in your head. You CANNOT talk about the psychology of trading enough!
Once you learn the technicals, once you have the strategy and the edge, once you have some experience and you know how to execute, psychology is THE obstacle to becoming profitable.
We need more videos! please and thank you lol
Hi Peachy. Can you do a video about options, why to use them vs just buying shares, etc. I’ve only been trading for a year, and I have only ever bought shares, just to learn charts and zones, but it seems like all traders only use options. 😀
I do want to hear more about the dopamine.
You have to learn to lose...exactly as you explained. Hindsite is 20 20 but the DBD up to the left price hit sent it back down on you...look up to the left before hitting buy...good trading advice you give...thank you
There is always tomorrow. small wins from fear. big losses form hope.
great video
