Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) was only a teenaged stunt biker when he sold his soul to the devil (Peter Fonda). Years later, Johnny is a world renowned daredevil by day, but at night, he becomes the Ghost Rider of Marvel Comics legend. The devil's bounty hunter, he is charged with finding evil souls on earth and bringing them to hell. But when a twist of fate brings Johnny's long-lost love (Eva Mendes) back into his life, Johnny realizes he just might have a second chance at happiness - if he can beat the devil and win back his soul. To do so he'll have to defeat Blackheart (Wes Bentley), the devil's nemesis and wayward son, whose plot to take over his father's realm will bring hell on earth--unless Ghost Rider can stop him.

Aww this was one of the best movies I ever saw when I was a kid, back in the 2000s, I remember I was always scared of the dark, skulls and the ghost stuff, and that I used to get nightmares after watching them, but surprisingly when I used to watch the ghost rider I used to never get nightmares, my parents were always surprised because of this, I have watched this movie 13 times and I still love this movie.

Yes, in 2007 several films were released that we remember today; Rec, I am Legend, Paranormal Activity, etc. But I think the 3 star movies of that year were: Spider-Man 3, Ghost Rider, and of course, Transformers. 3 films classified as "mediocre" but that we currently continue to watch with affection and nostalgia, wanting to return to how everything was before.

I was purely purely obsessive of Ghost Rider back in my high-school. I used to hum "Ghost Riders in the Sky" track, imitate laugh of Ghost Rider, swaying my arms sometimes to imitate the chain throw from "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" and just using every damn wallpaper of "Ghost Rider" and "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" for god knows how many years.
The thrill of seeing the Johny Blaze turning himself and his bike into the evil spirit of Zarathos, aka Ghost Rider, was pure fun, and it still is for me.
I really don't know what happened with Ghost Rider 3: The Dark World. I heard back in those days about it. I don't know whether it was only a rumour but it'd have been a blast if third part with original cast would've been made and released for every fan.

@@AJtheDestroyer maybe but since I watched it in my childhood it has its special spot in my life...I remember rewatching it many times when I was a kid...when things are a part of nostalgia one doesnt look for errors and fault rather preserve it the way it is...yes thinking back and maybe realizing is wasnt as great as it seemed but one has to look according to the time and era in which it came out and I can say it was a very good movie during that time...this is my personal opinion btw

Fun story: as a kid I had a spider man comic that had da picture of a ghost rider action figure in the back. I wanted that action figure so bad but I didn’t even know the name of the character. I was really young (around 5) a couple of years later I’m watching tv with my sister and this trailer suddenly plays, and I freaked out, I started calling my mom and dad and saying that the flaming skull toy was having a movie.
I was there for the premiere and when the movie came out on dvd my parents bought it and the movie version of the toy I wanted so bad.

The amount of expressions I found in this movie is beyond Talent!!! Nicolas Cage and Younger one both played out the role very well. Both are Legendary performers. The Stunts, The Writing it was a peak ERA for HOLLYWOOD. Ghost Rider is one of the greatest yet exciting yet Horror yet sexy film ever made by marvel. It'll be more great if they use Harvey Dent Half faced CGI. MARVEL was gOATED before Endgame!!!
The fact the GCI of movies back then was much better than today.
This might be an unpopular opinion but I actually liked this film obviously more than the sequel, but that might be because I'm a huge Ghost Rider fan. Nicholas Cage was good as Ghost Rider and I hope to see him return in the role obviously in a one off role since I mainly want Keanu Reeves or Norman Reedus to be the next Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider. Plus the pennance stare is something they couldn't mess up with Ghost Rider and if you ask me I'm glad they didn't

Watched this at 7-9 if I remember correctly. My dad had it on and I sat and watched the whole thing. This was one of my favourite shows to watch including scream, nightmare on elm street, Jeeper’s creepers and more.
