Big shoutout to you sire I have watched hell lot of edc home defense and prepper videos but not like you u have the simple way to tell u have everything in an align that's the best about the video and videos of ur
I really love your kit. I have a rush 511 72 as well. Almost 2 years ago I went to the rush 5 11 store in search of the perfect bag when I spotted a rush 5 11 72 in a ranger green color. Also bought the rush 5 11 moab 6 in same color. I am disabled in a wheelchair as a result of a spinal cord injury so I need a good bag to hall not only normal gear but disability related items as well. My bag will be used as a disaster supply kit but could be used as long term as well.
I know I’m late to be commenting on this video but I would definitely consider some Thompson locking snares, fishing kit, some other form of projectile weapon. Like a bow, .625 magnum Cold Steel blowgun (nothing less), or slingshot. Food procurement tools are going to keep you going. And not to say the pack is not good, but I would suggest a external frame pack. They handle weight better.
Thanks man we're going through all that trouble for us great setup good-looking bag very well packed and organized. Keep it up brother I'm sure it gets hard at time but your really making a difference and helping people God bless and thank you again
I love the kit SSGT! Its hard to keep that weight down! but at 50 lbs. you did darn good! I would have liked to do more videos on my bag, but just have to much going on at this time of year. When I started my inch bag videos it wasn't for the contest, it was to share! I know that its been a lot of work for you!!! I really appreciate all that you do,you've helped me in big ways! keep breathing!
I guess I have to put my comment back on here again....Thanks,You Tube. Cool ideas S.SGT. 511 must make some good gear.Years ago my relatives gave me some hand me down gear they weren't using anymore and that stuff can take a beating. Thanks for letting me know about the Gerber machete. My son has been eyeballing one lately.Anywho, I like the humor.Im a MTECH hatchet and nobody like me. lol This is my first e-tool from Fisher Price.Im rolling over here Big GUY.
Agoraphobic Adam thank you. If you get the machete just make sure just like all machetes get a good file so you can file it real sharp because they're soft metal and they tend to wear out quickly just keep it Sharp
I was issued that bag and have been using it for years as my go bag. It’s been on two deployments and thrown around a lot, it don’t look as nice as yours but it will give many more years of use.
eagle scout here! haha, rope is awesome! great for evoking tears from newer and older scouts alike when knots and lashings needed to be taught. SHEEPSHANK!
Brother I’ve watched this video a million times and I still love it. I have a marine ilbe bag that’s my bob n inch bag. Now Ima get one for my wife ( although she is smaller then me)
Great BOB, and an epic series. I own 2 Rush 12's , one stays in my car as my GHB and can be used in conjunction with my emergency vehicle kit. And the other I use as a day pack when I'm out in the woods, screwing around , but set up for spending an unexpected night. And funny enough I have the 72 as well :) I use it for longer stays and the extra room comes in handy on those colder weather excursions
For all you preppers, 5.11 bags are usually on the expensive side but there are bags that are almost the exact same just not huge name brands, I think copies of the 5.11 bag like the one in this video are made by SOG and LA Police Gear. I personally have the LA Police Gear version, if ya need links to either one, just ask me. Also loved the video Sarge, thanks again for making these videos!
Dude... you scared me! At least it was only because of the music... Great video! It is good to seel all toghether in one bag! Good work! Hitting the "like" in 3,2,1!
you know what is really wrong with mtec gear? it doesnt cost a gadzillion dollars, people cant impress themselves with how much the spent. I'd rather lose a $12 mtec then a $70 buck
I like your hatchet... I am so happy you added seeds but I will say the same thing I keep asking people. Why no sewing kit? I am also impressed you adressed extra clothes.
Joshua MacDonald Sewing kits are necessary, even if it’s only needles and upholstery thread (which is my sewing kit). They are emergency stitches for wounds, clothing/equipment repair etc...
Awesome to finally see it all together. Crazy how much extra stuff end up packing when u have a wife and kids, If was just me on my own my pack would prob be 25% lighter then it is now lol
Matt Aliperti I would need this much food I wouldn't need the diapers or wipes I wouldn't need all those seeds I don't know there's a lot of things that I wouldn't need if it was just me
= WHAT IS AN INCH BAG? The INCH (I’m never coming home) bag is basically a large survival kit containing items critical to your survival following a disaster or other SHTF scenario. An INCH bag should differ from a BOB or GOOD bag in that it must sustain you indefinitely.
I loved watching this video. I guess it was cool watching you load out the same back pack I use as my BOB. I cant carry half that weight but, I love the pack.
I got a bad back from a enjury in the army so my serviel kit is all light weight and just what ill use and need.with bad knees and back i have a light load
I had the 5.11 Rush 72 bag set up as an INCH bag but i ended up switching to a USMC ILBE main rucksack. It holds my woodland camo Modular Sleep System pretty well. Its way more comfortable carying heavy loads, and holds almost twice as much as the 5.11 bag.
Get yourself a polk sled, tie it to a 500 lb. capacity game cart, put your back-pack in it with so much more stuff (like food) and you will save your back during a bug out. You will also be able to return to camp with the critter you shot (game cart). The polk sled will do the same for you in the winter. You will find there is also room in the game cart for a wood stove for which you will later thank yourself. -Author of the "Prepper's Book of Ideas".
Lots of good ideas here, especially the etool. Most preppers forget that. Seeds - good idea. I wonder if you've considered a survival vest? Tier 1 gear, on one's person at all times, instead of in your pack, which is tier 2 and 3. Compass, knife, light, fire starter, gloves, all in your vest pockets. Saves space in the pack, and distributes the weight a bit. Sew an inner pocket in for your pistol, if you like. I gotta point out something I learned section hiking the Appalachian trail: zippers break, batteries run out, steel parts rust, Camelbacks puncture. In an INCH scenario, the long term is the thing. Also, I swore off internal frame packs. When they fail, they're gone. You can zip tie an external frame back together. Or jury rig straps. Just my 2c
Yea i have to get the perfect set up i need a family tent right now i have a one person tent (w mos net and tarp) for me and a hammock (w mos net and tarp) for my wife and daughters to share.... Haha filled that thing up already and theres still stuff i need to put in
The 1 thing that sucks about making everything nice and neat to pack ur bag as full as it can go is..... getting it all back nice and neat when it's time to beat feet. Especially when ur doing so in a hurry.
Cold steel makes a really awesome shovel, it don't break down but it's really nice. Zachary Fowler brought it with him on alone and sense has gotten more of them but not because they broke.
I have a similar bag 5-11 makes great gear, very tough and to those who say its looks to tactical.. my response stop being a puss@ , and to those who say it’s too expensive.. my response buying something good once is cheaper than buying junk over and over, also keep in mind that all the really experienced hunters and survival experts will be heading to a woods or isolated piece of land in the middle of nowhere, so let’s all try to get along lol
What about your beard tools you need to "Mantain,"your appearance . Or is your philosophy to go ahead and look even more fearsome out in the woods. Lol great vid

Will be important to see what work or not work in real situation. Maybe ad in somthing or remote.
that is a very nice looking pack, great! it's out of my price range but I have a Polish military rucksack, waist belt is not padded but I can hang pouches off of it
Awesome vid as always 👍 real men carry rope hahaha I also have two screw gate crabs and a fig8 just for that little repelling 🤗 tough Etool love mine the only shovel I would take over that is the old 58pattern UK spade its freaking awesome and built to withstand WW3 lol nice bag and great review of the kit I'm getting the 5:11 Rush 24 in a few weeks as an EDC bag nice when you respect someone and their kit looks like they emptied your own bag lol keep'em coming SSgt BA tops 🤘
No wonder it weights around 50 pounds, you carry a whole roll of Gorilla Tape and electrical tape; an axe, a machete, a hand chainsaw, a shovel. Why not caring instead some water, an ultra light tent from Zpacks and a Sawyer filter???. If you want to process wood for fire and shelter, it only takes a Silky Pocket Boy saw and a Mora Bushcraft knife. By the way, love your videos. Greetings from Ecuador.
speaking of hooch, depending on the type, you can always use it to clean wounds if no water is available. Add in a spare unusable bullet for a makeshift cowboy quick clot, proving you have a flint striker on hand, which I know you have a few, plus lighters, so your covered there. Great videos!
I was thinking..I've seen a lot of video's about bug out bags and so on..would it be more practical to have most of these stuf organized in a bug out roll..a bugout roll will easily fit in this large bag...things you need quick acces to you can put in the rest main pockets of the bag

I loved watching this video. I guess it was cool watching you load out the same back pack I use as my BOB. I cant carry half that weight but, I love the pack.
Thank you me too its a great pack brother
I used to carry a sharpen stone. It goes back in the bag now. No fat wood in my bag though to cut weight.
you can just find it. I do all the time here
Great Bob , I enjoyed the whole series. I am hoping to get my bag better. Just wanted to let you know that you and sippy cup made it very informative.

Great job brother.
Very nice pack!!!
Love these bags. Use a black one for my EDC work bag. Black gets a tacticool rep, but it seems to get ignored more in an office environment too.
Put a Bible in that bag! God, Guns & Gummy Bears. The gummy bears are for the susquatch.
Great, i was wondering just yesterday what an I.N.C.H bag was. tq. I sort of know now. I'll have to watch more from your playlist.🌎

Hope you have a fantastic 🦄🌈🐴💥 day as well

So it all comes together! In the next bag maybe go hard core old shool canvas, wool and linen?
next one is crazy
there is an oldboy on here who does it all old school. It is very minimal type load out though. Because it's heavy.
You can also use the fimanine pads to stop minor bleeding on your arms legs etc
