    I really love your kit. I have a rush 511 72 as well. Almost 2 years ago I went to the rush 5 11 store in search of the perfect bag when I spotted a rush 5 11 72 in a ranger green color. Also bought the rush 5 11 moab 6 in same color. I am disabled in a wheelchair as a result of a spinal cord injury so I need a good bag to hall not only normal gear but disability related items as well. My bag will be used as a disaster supply kit but could be used as long term as well.

    I know I’m late to be commenting on this video but I would definitely consider some Thompson locking snares, fishing kit, some other form of projectile weapon. Like a bow, .625 magnum Cold Steel blowgun (nothing less), or slingshot. Food procurement tools are going to keep you going. And not to say the pack is not good, but I would suggest a external frame pack. They handle weight better.

When I started my inch bag videos it wasn't for the contest, it was to share! I know that its been a lot of work for you!!! Cool ideas S.SGT. 511 must make some good gear.Years ago my relatives gave me some hand me down gear they weren't using anymore and that stuff can take a beating.Thanks for letting me know about the Gerber machete.My son has been eyeballing one lately.Anywho, I like the humor.Im a MTECH hatchet and nobody like me. lol This is my first e-tool from Fisher Price.Im rolling over here Big GUY.

      Agoraphobic Adam thank you. If you get the machete just make sure just like all machetes get a good file so you can file it real sharp because they're soft metal and they tend to wear out quickly just keep it Sharp

    Great BOB, and an epic series. I own 2 Rush 12's , one stays in my car as my GHB and can be used in conjunction with my emergency vehicle kit. And the other I use as a day pack when I'm out in the woods, screwing around , but set up for spending an unexpected night. And funny enough I have the 72 as well :) I use it for longer stays and the extra room comes in handy on those colder weather excursions

    For all you preppers, 5.11 bags are usually on the expensive side but there are bags that are almost the exact same just not huge name brands, I think copies of the 5.11 bag like the one in this video are made by SOG and LA Police Gear. I personally have the LA Police Gear version, if ya need links to either one, just ask me. Also loved the video Sarge, thanks again for making these videos!

    WHAT IS AN INCH BAG?
    The INCH (I’m never coming home) bag is basically a large survival kit containing items critical to your survival following a
    disaster or other SHTF scenario. An INCH bag should differ from a BOB or GOOD bag in that it must sustain you indefinitely.

    Get yourself a polk sled, tie it to a 500 lb. capacity game cart, put your back-pack in it with so much more stuff (like food) and you will save your back during a bug out. You will also be able to return to camp with the critter you shot (game cart). The polk sled will do the same for you in the winter.You will find there is also room in the game cart for a wood stove for which you will later thank yourself.

  • @joejohnson9442
    @joejohnson9442 6 лет назад

    Lots of good ideas here, especially the etool. Most preppers forget that. Seeds - good idea. I wonder if you've considered a survival vest? Tier 1 gear, on one's person at all times, instead of in your pack, which is tier 2 and 3. Compass, knife, light, fire starter, gloves, all in your vest pockets. Saves space in the pack, and distributes the weight a bit. Sew an inner pocket in for your pistol, if you like. I gotta point out something I learned section hiking the Appalachian trail: zippers break, batteries run out, steel parts rust, Camelbacks puncture. In an INCH scenario, the long term is the thing. Also, I swore off internal frame packs. When they fail, they're gone. You can zip tie an external frame back together. Or jury rig straps. Just my 2c

    I have a similar bag 5-11 makes great gear, very tough and to those who say its looks to tactical.. my response stop being a puss@ , and to those who say it’s too expensive.. my response buying something good once is cheaper than buying junk over and over, also keep in mind that all the really experienced hunters and survival experts will be heading to a woods or isolated piece of land in the middle of nowhere, so let’s all try to get along lol

    I watch INCH Bag of youtube but nobody don't use equipment in outdoor for long term survival in real situation.
    Question: When one video (maybe with another youtube channel like a challange) with you, with your INCH BAG in wilderness, living and hunting for 30 days +?
    Will be important to see what work or not work in real situation. Maybe ad in somthing or remote.

    No wonder it weights around 50 pounds, you carry a whole roll of Gorilla Tape and electrical tape; an axe, a machete, a hand chainsaw, a shovel. Why not caring instead some water, an ultra light tent from Zpacks and a Sawyer filter???. If you want to process wood for fire and shelter, it only takes a Silky Pocket Boy saw and a Mora Bushcraft knife. By the way, love your videos. Greetings from Ecuador.
