Thank you so much for having us on your show Jia Ping!❤ It was an enjoyable time talking to you in Klang!😊 We wish all the best for your future contents!🇲🇾☺️
Whenever my Japanese friends are here, 1st thought was City tour in KL, Malacca, Penang, Cameron Highlands. From now, certainly Klang be added in my list.
Loved this 'prequel' of sorts - I've followed iChang from her durian notebook days & the Ghost Pepper Noodle challenge to now unofficial Tourism Ambassador, and BTS camera-shy darts hubby transitioning to now lead co-star Hahmsap Jimmy looking agog at biawaks. It's great to hear in their own words of their journey to their 2nd Home. (also loved hearing iChang pick out Iron GuanYin) Thank you Jia-Ping/Soul Cities, for showing a thrumming Klang as well.
@goodguyaus 😃😄Thank you for watching. I can't get over how Jimmy's nick name is Hamsap. BTW, Klang River has both biawaks and buaya!!! Hence the look on Jimmy's face.
Tq for inviting Jimmy and iChang. Yes we love spontaneity, flexibility and a bit of chaos in our culture than being overly structured. There is no right or wrong between both culture mindset. I believe Msia needs both to have a holistic growth.
@guitardom74 Totally agree with you. Each culture works for their respective citizens. Soul Cities loves Japan and the creativity there that flourishes within their structured existence.
Jia-Ping, well narrated, filmed and captured. I like your story-telling. Just started out on my content creation, passionate hobby as well.. good interview with Ichang and Jimmy too Cheers👍
I hope Tourism Malaysia will thoroughly look into iChang & Jimmy as The Ambassador of Malaysia. Both has visited & dined at more places than any of their VIewers.
Thank you for watching. They are an amazing couple. So down to earth and they genuinely love Malaysia and I feel that Malaysia has already seeped into their DNA - hahaha.
Hmmm from the description I feel like Klang is like Taiping or Ipoh especially of the era of the 60s to the 80s, maybe even now but I'm not so sure because I've been in Kuala Lumpur since the 90s though I still visit both yearly.
Interesting, I too cannot live in a mono culture and a monolingual environment. I need to escape it after a while. China Japan Korea Vietnam are those I could not get used to. In 🇬🇧 London is so cosmopolitan it doesn’t feel mono. In the US you’d live in silos but mingle in the workplace.
Thank you for your comment. Once you have lived in a place that is so rich in diversity, it's difficult to adjust to other places that are not so diverse. Yes London is also very diverse and I love that Friday night curries are now part of the culture!. Would love to do some episodes there.
Soul Cities took them there but we were too full to eat it and the heat made it impossible to tapau as we had many filming hours left. Thanks for the suggestion. The Pandan Cakes there are simply to die for.
@@SoulCities I hope at some point you can make video about Chonmage another Japanese in Malaysia channel. iChang have relax style and Chonmage have energetic style. I like them both for their own styles.
@SoulCities Yes, like the commenter replied, there were a few videos of Jimmy really enjoying the food with a hamsap face. That's how his subscribers described it and Jimmy laughed about it. That's how the name got stuck to Jimmy 😂
Thank you so much for having us on your show Jia Ping!❤

Yes Klang is a little hidden gem.

@jeantay3586 Thank you for your comments. Much appreciated.
Can't believe such a small city like klang can have a very big impact on Jimmy and I hang...
Eiiii... tak haram ke tengok orang makan bakuteh? Nanti PAS hantar orang datang tangkap ko. 😂😂😂
@mohdzaki1089 I believed they truly appreciated the old world charm and the human scale of the place.
@@AyamNasiHainan Thank you for watching and your humourous take on our BKT segment
jimmy and ichang dress like malaysian.. great to see that
They are an amazing couple. I so enjoyed interviewing them.
Yup! Both wear nice Batik which I noticed from the beginning. 😊
I hope Tourism Malaysia will thoroughly look into iChang & Jimmy as The Ambassador of Malaysia.
Both has visited & dined at more places than any of their VIewers.
Thank you for watching. I so agree with you that they should be made Malaysian ambassadors.

Thank you for watching and your support.
"We just know about Durian" 🤣🤣
Btw, thanks for making this, its interesting seeing Jimmy in this different POV. They actually look like Malaysians lol

Agreed. It is human that make the place.
Thank you for your comment. We need to ensure we never forget the importance of designing for humans of all ages.

Klang is busier than Taiping but I get what you mean. It is similar to the Ipoh old town.

Welcome to Klang
Malaysia govt come on long term visa for good people to stay and contribute towards economy growth
Yes Soul Cities hope that Malaysian Govt can adopt them as honorary Malaysians and give them PR.
When in klang go try regent pandan cake
Soul Cities took them there but we were too full to eat it and the heat made it impossible to tapau as we had many filming hours left. Thanks for the suggestion. The Pandan Cakes there are simply to die for.
🎉🎉🎉
I hope the municipal dogcatchers won't take Wan Wan away.
Yes we hope that Wan Wan gets to roam the streets freely for a very long time.
Visit the Japanese WW2 graveyard, and the Japanese military and administration buildings in Ipoh, Perak.
❤❤😊
Thanks for the love. Have a great day.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the love. Much appreciated
klang town = kelantan
This video is quite "dark/sad" (because of low exposure color grading)
Thanks for the feedback. The Soul Cities team will ensure the next episodes will be more colourful.
for me it gives calm and chill slice of life vibe.
@@bladeqmaster Thank you.

Klang is a gangster town.
2:34 Wang Wang (?) Community dog...
I hope it will not receive the same fate as KOPI...
What happened to KOPI?
meh
ehhh.... Jimmy Hamsap and Ai Nishida.... 👍👍👍
Oh, is that what they are calling Jimmy? Why Hamsap?
@SoulCities i dont know, madam... maybe he showed a kind of hamsap face while eating a so delicous food... 😁
