Great review! GORUCK bags are expensive, but they're my favorite. All of mine, except the Rucker, were bought on sale or 2nd hand. I bought my wife the 18L DC Bullet, she loves it for work and travel.
I'd love to be able to carry a 16L as my EDC, cause I don't generally carry too much stuff, but I need to have my 17" laptop... and there's nothing under 20L that fits a 17" and even at 20L it's rare. That front slash pocket is notorious on all Gorucks for becoming unusable as soon as you fill the main compartment. And the flap on the main zipper is more of a nuisance than a benefit. On the other hand, I find the GR1 and GR2 the most comfortable bags to carry heavy loads in. PS: I'm so pissed I missed the Bullet in that tidal blue colour 😔
The current GR0 is a renamed Echo. The orignial GR0 was what is now the 21L GR1. Great bags all around, but GORUCK likes to get stupid with using the same name on different bags.
I think it's the GR0 - on their site they said it was "previously called the Echo" - www.goruck.com/collections/gr0?srsltid=AfmBOorbUbXYT059IQ3UKK7ZNWt1BWh_AR0e-D4LKzlM498U-mMsVJeQ
🔥 Check out my bag on Kickstarter! 👉🏼 go.nomadsnation.com/fyro-t22
Nice. Try Chuyentactical and Nitecore as alternative.
hoping to review a CT bag soon

thanks for sharing! And yea, 17" laptops won't really fit in 20 liter bags, they usually aren't tall enough
I very much appreciate you including the dimensions. But why didn’t you pack it out with a 45 lb iron plate?
next time lol
Gee, I wish they were around back in the mid 80's, but only thing there is where JANSPORT BACKPACK and went around from $30.00-$65.00 😮
😮
Try a Savotta Kahakka 15L instead
I'll check it out!
great video man!
you should try the nitecore bp23 pro, the most Accessible bag
thanks dude, I'll check it out
is this a new release? i thought gr0 was replaced by gr1 😮

It's not a proper review without a weight plate... it is for rucking, not hitting up coffee shops.
I would argue that 80%+ people who buy this bag don't ruck
Defy Verbockel 2.0 roll top
I'll check it out!
That bag is extremely too thin and shallow to be costing $275.
ain’t cheap, that’s for sure
Oof, the price is scary for 16l
not cheap, but the lifetime guarantee is pretty epic
I used to drink the goruck koolaid, but moved on
yea they have quite the passionate following
Lezgooooo XD
💪💪
Overpriced compared to Ctactical
for sure! but also there is an argument to be made that CT blatantly ripped off GORUCK
Price is why I found Ctactical
much cheaper, but very controversial brand
