Great bit. Bobby is the real deal when it comes to steel men. I was lucky a few years ago to be invited to sit in & sing a few with Stephanie's band when they played the dances at Elko--they already had all the fiddle players they needed, & all better than me. I did San Antonio Rose, Faded Love & a couple others. Bobby was on steel, the only time I've ever got to work with him.This guy is on my list with Tommy Morrell, Dicky Overbey & Jimmy Goodman as the best I've ever sung with. Great Vid.
I've always wanted to make it to this Pigeon Forge deal, never have, looks & sounds like you had a great time. I hope you can post more of this, esp Stephanie singing & playing fiddle. I know everybody on the stage and have worked with most of them. I'm in love with Keri & Stephanie & friends with all the rest. Good singing, Scott. for the record a guy named Steve Davis "West Virginia Creeper" was the original Commander Cody steel man and played on their 1st. album Lost in the Ozone.
