    It is a great tutorial. I will have a sample that is a magnetic bead conjugated with epoxy group. Can you make a tour to prepare sample for FTIR testing? Thank you

    I am doing a research and about to use this equipment. The problem is I never use it before. So it is helpful for me if you willing to share the result of the test shown in this video for my reference. Thank you.

    hi, sir, it is a nice video .first for example for composite material if I want the diameter of the specimen is 20 mm and the diameter of the die is 25 mm can I machine the resulting specimen or I must use another die with 20 mm diameter? secondly how many grams of powder I used? is it depends on the size of the die or the standard of material which used in the specified test?

    • @chemfunman
      @chemfunman  5 лет назад

      yes, no need to measure the amount, have to go via experience, give it a try? this is dependent on the solid (if it containts metal or not) as well

      @@chemfunman thanks sir is there reduction in spesimen height after compact comparing to height of powder in die before compact process? and is the fully filling die with powder prefered or not ?

    May I ask why you are using chloroform for the cleaning part? Is there a specific reason for ?

    • @chemfunman
      @chemfunman  3 года назад

      it is anhydrous, does not dissolve the disc.

    Why we must make this process and not just measuring the absorbance of our sample without making a disc?
