I used a R962i trailed sprayer. Absolutely brilliant machine! So you’ve changed the Bateman for more capacity and higher output. After driving both a Bateman and the trailed Jd, I’d choose the trailed all day. More comfortable, familiar user preference, ease of operation with the command pro joystick. 👍🏻
Good to see you back at the videos Andy, have missed seeing what you get up to every week. It’s nice to see the difference between arable farming here in NI compared to England, keep them coming bud .
First time seeing your videos Andy. They are quite different to a lot of other videos that I watch of this nature. Its great to see you are showing us the other workings and goings on, of the farming life, and not just the field machinery, close ups and detail are also great to see. As busy as you are, and must be, the videos are much appreciated. I look forward of more to come. 👊
Lucky you saw that gate when you did Andy or the tyre man would have been in business your new 215 looks great your tractor always looks well kept well done to you
Not seen one of those type of hitches that you use on the sprayer, is that specific to the John Deere? Great to see your videos back again, your videos inspired me to start doing my own too. Cheers
Lovely sprayer that mate. Great choice to go down that route. Self propelleds are great but the fact they’re a one trick pony doesn’t make sense financially
How come the need for an extra tractor have you taken on more staff? I'm guessing the idea of the 155 spreading fert and hedge trimming is to take hours off your tractor now it's doing all the spraying? Are you still going to be doing the fert and trimming or someone else?
Hi yes they are a new tyre that Michelin have brought out and now stopped production because of so many complaints…. Michelin are replacing the tyres this week for regular 650’s
It’s actually the tyres, not the rims. Andy, the tyre issue you have is a major one across the tyre brands. You will probably be told it’s how/where the tyres are measured….rubbish. I have just had this problem myself with Bridgestone, a near neighbour has had the same last July with BKT and Michelin are no different. I could easily keep writing on the subject as I’ve had a real game with it all (and cost) so be careful and stick to your guns when discussing with HFG and Michelin.
Hi yea the Michelin man came out Friday the tyres are a new high speed tyre that they have brought out but everyone has complained about them so production has stopped on that tyre now.
This is the outrageous expensive crappy farming that we need to get rid of. Driving all over the place and leasing land. Gobbleing up small farms. It's everywhere in the world and it needs to stop. Tmr factory farms suck.
Yes I do. It's a canablestic business . Low quality products, soon there will only be corporate farms. They tried to protest in France recently. There all wrong and needed to go back home. .
Good to see you back releasing videos on RUclips...looking forward to this seasons videos 👍
Watching your videos makes everyone happy...
Great video Andy, could we have an updated machinery tour as it looks like a lot has changed for you. Keep up the good work
Good to see you back again Andy , another week on the farm .
Great Video, I never got attached to the Bateman, The trailed sprayer makes sense! well done on the box repair, thanks for sharing
I can’t believe they make you have a whole special dedicated building for fert loading
Many thanks Just watched your 2019 video of t670 service and run through we have just changed to one from claas for harvest 24 👍
New frame and box prob the price of a decent family holiday 🤣

Yea driving the 6R is far more relaxing than driving the Bateman, although i’v heard the newer Batemans with auto steer and cruise control are nice

Sprayer tool box tut tut, nearly broke the CTS tap off 😂, a good repair though A
Pinch me a box off someone else’s 😉

Great to have you back Andy, some great content too. Looking forward to some drier weather 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Brilliant video as always, keep them coming an enjoyment to watch.

Fantastic Andy, MINT to see your films, keep them coming mate
Great video - good to see you back!
Great video Andy.
Lucky you saw that gate when you did Andy or the tyre man would have been in business your new 215 looks great your tractor always looks well kept well done to you
You are right the rear tyres don't look right, could be wider rims make them look narrower, great to see you back it is always interesting
Superb video Andy, your John Deere tractors and equipment looks excellent. 😊
Nice video
We have a TM 150 with Goodyear 480s on the front and 580s on back . Both measure over 500 and the other over 600!!
Super machine 👌
R yes mate cracking video really enjoyable content so glad you back on the scene always a nice end to my weekend chilling watching this 👍
great video andy
I wonder what the price difference was between new bateman and the John Deere
Curious on the thoughts of going trailed sprayer from self propelled
I have the same tractor and a r962i come away from a househam with a 3500l tank gone from 80ha days to 200ha spray days 😂
1st time watching 👀 for a long while are you regular bow keep and eye out for you the 1st you tuber back 4 years back interesting video
As hunts want nearly £1k for new swath boards on a Kuhn front mower, that plastic box, guessing double that.
Great video. Very interesting why you changed the sprayers. Bet that box costs 2000 quid. Are you going to do any videos of the cows
One million dollars Mr Bond, you were wondering what it cost. 😊 seriously though i guess a new box etc will cost three hundred pounds.
Well after 2 weeks of being away, the land still looks just as wet as I left!😩🤦♂ Don’t think I’ll be in a field anytime soon
You need alloy booms with liquid N the steel ones will rot quickly.
Guess your wheel touched the end of that stick?
Yea I think it probably did, I thought the same thing when I watched the video back
Not seen one of those type of hitches that you use on the sprayer, is that specific to the John Deere? Great to see your videos back again, your videos inspired me to start doing my own too. Cheers
Great video how is the defender build coming along
😀😀😀
Do you prefer the sprayer joystick over using the command pro programmed for isobus?
Lovely sprayer that mate. Great choice to go down that route. Self propelleds are great but the fact they’re a one trick pony doesn’t make sense financially
Exactly, having 2 tractors is far more practical than a tractor and a self propelled
How’s the Cummings Landy coming along
Trailed v self propelled thoughts
Lovley videos🙌💪🇸🇪 How come that you dont own a bit older equiment like john deere 6920 or 7710? It seems that you just own new equiment.
Is there much difference in the new tractor from the old one
How come the need for an extra tractor have you taken on more staff? I'm guessing the idea of the 155 spreading fert and hedge trimming is to take hours off your tractor now it's doing all the spraying? Are you still going to be doing the fert and trimming or someone else?
I will still be be doing most if it yes
Have you got green sidelight bulbs in ? If so where from ,keep the videos coming
Yea eBay, don’t last long though so buy a few sets 👍🏻
Looks like a BK Grain control panel, guessing they put the whole store in?
Yes
28:30 £1500!
How.s the land rover 90
3k box and frame
Not being a farmer myself ,, if you have wider booms , are your old tramlines too close together ??🤔
Correct to we made them further apart to 30m now.
When drilling the seed. Tell the drill to put in wider tramlines.
Why bin ventilator was turned on?
Hello, was your last Deere. 250? If so why a 215 now great post good to see you back
Their last tractor was a 6215r so it’s just a like for like replacement
I would say about £480.00
Where abouts in the uk do you farm ??
Will you now be getting row crops for the tractor?
If we find a set yea
Great video Andy, how is the defender build getting on?
Slowly
Heat box before straighten it
Evening, did you have the large mud flaps made,or did you buy them?
Bought them there advertised in farmers weekly, can’t remember what the company are called
Ok, thank you, I will ask Google. Were they expensive?
A 650 70 is narrower then a 650 65....your better off with a 710 65 with to match the fronts which are probably 600 65 28
New tractor or demo
Hi . Any update on your tyres ? I've got 1 with the same tyres and they're just not right !!
Hi yes they are a new tyre that Michelin have brought out and now stopped production because of so many complaints…. Michelin are replacing the tyres this week for regular 650’s
@@Itsafarminglifeforme thanks that's good to know as they'll be getting another complaint very soon.
Probably 800
£250
Did you finish the Cummins?
Not yet
@@Itsafarminglifeforme make another video 👍
Not the tyres, its the rims that are too narrow
It’s actually the tyres, not the rims.

£700

You apparently have no idea what your talking about
Yes I do. It's a canablestic business . Low quality products, soon there will only be corporate farms. They tried to protest in France recently. There all wrong and needed to go back home.
.
I like how you use real-world examples to illustrate your points, it makes it easier to relate.
