It would be great to hear the result of a few people's piano improvisations over this mesmerising, fantastic backing track.
I won't bang on about Moonlight Sonata this time! Suffice to say I can't read music and can only play one tune as per mentioned, by sheer determination and memory muscle .(I'm very old!) But this backing track has opened my eyes and gives me inordinate amount of joy and a massive freedom I've not experienced before. I've worked out how I can just play by ear a combo of A, C, D E G and occasionally G minor or is it F major, along with the existing melody and can get my own little jazz-style melody that fits in really well (if I say so myself!) with this fantastic backing track. Never done that before. It's kind of like a miracle to me! I'm now trying to find a chord or two that might work with it as well. Sorry to be so clueless. Makes me think there's hope for me yet! I haven't smiled so much for years. It's a truly wonderful experience and keeps me occupied for hours! Thank you Jam4all!

More like an A minor pentatonic scale with an E Ionian at 12th fret...all I know it works well and it advanced my playing on acoustic guitar and electric 🎸 and keyboards and organ and ... sometimes we explain the fun away..BRAVO GUYS

This is E not Ionian. The tonic centre is an A and you can play b3 b7 over the E7#9. E is phrygian here.
You may play E mixolidian' rigth? And E lidyan may be sounds good
@@nordico.ok11 You can play whatever you want over it. Whatever you want to create you can! That said, technically the tonal center is A (minor in this case) and the natural minor is Aolian. A Aeolian contains the 6th degree of the scale which is F. E Phrygian contains the F note as well (second note in the scale) Whereas E Mixolydian would have F# instead of the F you are looking for
