@@hannahphelan7184 If she hadn't then tried to come back or text Rhys. I really want her to be alive, Rhysand deserves that and it would be nice if Nyx have some more familiy. I don't think that would fit with the time frame. And that would also mean Tamlin knows she's still alive because he told Feyre he burned the wings. That would kind of confirm the theory that the two are mates, but I actually hope they're not if she is alive. He would have said that to Rhys eventually though, like after the fight in Book 3. It's been a while since I read Crescent City 1. What do we know about Ruhn's mother?
I have the theory that Rhysands sister was Tamlins mate and he only knew right before she died just like Rhys did when Feyre died under the mountain and that was why he was overprotective and controlling. And why he didn’t have a mate when he met Feyre all because he didn’t want to be alone forever.
I keep forgetting that his past just keeps getting more and more traumatic with this. He only really mentions his mom and sister once or twice. Sometimes I wonder how it was growing up together

I SAY MEAVE IS RHYS'S LOST SISTER Ok hang with me because this is long and my first really thought-out theory Maeve is Rhysand’s “dead” sister First, their appearances and powers are the same/similar. They both have Raven black hair. ”His short black hair gleamed like a raven’s feathers” “the raven-haired beauty” They both have violet eyes “blue eyes so deep they were violet” (idk what Maeve’s eye color is but tog wiki said violet) They both can get intopeople'ss minds with claws and change what they think “And using her powers, she ripped into their minds. Made them believe they had a sister, then eldest sister to rule with them.” “There was a faint pulse in the air, a throbbing against her blood. A tapping, then a razor-sharp slicing against her mind-as if Maeve were trying to cleave open her skull and peer inside… she pushed back against the claws in her mind“ “readying to rip into their minds and force them “Then, a scrape of claws inside my mind-that only sliced against black, glittering adamant. I threw my lingering will into that wall as the claws pushed, testing for weak spots” They both have the power of darkness/night “just as a wall of darkness lashed for Aelin.“ “Of Maeve’s dark, unnamed power-a darkness that could devour the stars. “ ‘Obsidian power erupted from him“ (I'm also pretty sure there's a quote about Rhys and darkness covering the stars) They have a different dark form “The skin Maeve wore. No one had lived to tell anything beyond shadows and claws and a darkness“ “That Maeve had never revealed a Fae form, only that deadly darkness.“ “The talons came first. Replacing fingers and feet. Then dark scales or perhaps feathers, I couldn’t get a look at them, covered his legs, his arms, his chest. His body contorted, bones and muscles growing and shifting. The beast form Rhys had kept hidden. Never liked to unleash.“ “It was a thing of nightmares. Nothing human or Fae in it. It was a creature that lived in black pits and only emerged at night to hunt and feast. “ We never knew Rhys’ sister’s name Also in ToD when the spiders talk about Maeve they say, “Until a queen appeared-her power a new, dark song in the world.“ Appeared. Not born.
That makes no sense. Maeve is more than a thousand years old and in the Kingdom of Ash we saw Rhys and Feyre (probably pregnant with Nyx). So Maeve must be younger because Rhysand's sister is younger than Rhys and he is over 550 years old. Besides, why would she want to be so evil? And who is Erawan? I think Rhys would have protected her if there was a king who wanted to marry her, although she didn't want that and in prythian at that time there was no king except the king of hypern and he stayed in the world. She's half Illyrian and half fae (like Rhysand) and Maeve was Valgh queen or princess I don't remember) I hope she is alive and related to Rune of Crescent City😊
@@iloveBooks378 SPOILERS AHEAD: it actually does make sense. because at the end HOSB when Bryce travels to Velaris, she comes from a 20th century kind of society.
