41:22 This glitch happens when you have an X factor rookie that has his dev trait revealed. The only way to fix it is to edit the player & change their dev trait, save, and then edit it back to X factor. Then it’ll let you equip it.
So dumb that we still have these glitches when the game barely changes 🙃
Video series idea: you make a franchise and rebuild every team and each time you win the Super Bowl with a team you switch teams but stay in the league/franchise. It would be funny to see how many in game years it would take.

yeah draft classes are crazy this year. i got an 85 overall punter, i’ve gotten 3 or 4 superstar X factor offensive lineman, and my highest was an 86 overall safety i’m pretty sure might’ve been a runningback though, crazy stuff

@@corkythehippoman it creates a challenge lmao you can’t rely on clutch players you gotta get creative and trade for guys who are regressing or guys who are underrated.
He would be in a never ending loop of drafting high every season only to be forced to trade away his hidden dev picks for much lower value players.
I did it with a friend once. I drafted a normal dev qb and would purposefully throw picks with him so he wouldn’t get upgraded.

32:33 I actually did a rebuild of nothing but players with initial names. First time I did it was a couple years ago and it was really rough. This year though CJ Stroud exists so that made it more bearable. Still couldn't make a trade package for DJ Moore or TJ Watt though.

I think it was PJ Walker for a few seasons. Until a QB finally got generated in the draft.
When you do your rebuilds there is a way to turn off progressive fatigue and weekly practice injuries at the start screen settings. I do it when I’m not planning on playing in my games in a franchise

The X factor thing is because of the offensive and defensive coordinator talent tree. Sometimes they don’t come with it and you have to use your staff points to unlock it

I think the backup players being in the game during the playoffs is a glitch that madden needs to patch. I was running my own franchise playing in the playoffs and played the game from the beginning and still only had my backups for the entire game

I think the reason you don't see any kickers or punters at the top of the draft is because you only see people picked, and the CPU doesn't pick them. The only ones you'll see are the ones you grab

random comment but anyone notice the 1st 2 players he drafted both had 1 4 jersey numbers. the rb was 14 and the ss was 41.
also i did a random rebuild on madden 21 on my laptop where i traded all my started for the top 26picks. and then i went and edited the draft and gave everyone 99 speed, acceleration and agility and 99 in 1 or 2 positional attributes. and i didn't change anything didn't even check dev traits i picked every player to edit at random mostly with lower overalls to start. and after drafting all the players my whole starting lineup had 99 speed/acc/ag. offense, defense and k/p. i've simmed every game up to the 5 season not including the yr leading up to the draft, and the team has only lost 3games. 2 different 19 season with a sb win and 3 different season we went 18-1 with a sb win. 5 straight sb wins with 2different coaches and i change up the playbooks ever season. sometimes with-in the same season. some games i actually simed in game and changed the sim speed to slow and watched the gameplay.

Rebuild video idea: fantasy draft, every time you lose a game you have to trade one of your starters (Trade deadline off) and for every win you get to trade ANY backup player for a future pick or player. (if you want to)

It’s sucks but I’m glad it’s not just my game messing up. For some reason backups play the whole game in the playoffs. Happened to me two seasons in a row and screwed my season up. It’s the whole game, every playoff game.
because they are fatigued, there is a setting when your setting up the franchise called progressive fatigue make sure that is turned on. and the in week 1 if you press weekly strategy set full pads t half pads for both offense and defense
