I'm sure it was! I would very much like to build something myself but I have to put up a lot of time to find a new place to stay. The pre-order of the Type 97 Chi-Ha was my final pre-order for now because I don't know if I still will live here in a few months. By the way, did you pre-order the Pak 40 Bunker? I personally think it's even a worse deal than the U-96 Conning Tower.@@Rula2020
@@hookybrickshooky9529 Nice pick up with the chi ha tank. I really like the brickbuild camo patern on that one, definitely stands out. But for now I am still sticking to my soviet/american/german collection plan. So unfortunately had to say no to this one and other british tanks. And no I did not pick a pak40 bunker, although its a great build I feel like I like the original Mg bunker a bit better and if I build one its gonna that one from digital instructions. Now about that u-boat, I actually ended picking it since brickizimo sent me discount code plus I had some brickcoins saved. But even with all the discounts I still feel as i overpaid even for bkm standards. But I the end of the day I though that u-boat was just too of unique kit for me to miss out on. And I am with you on taking a break with bkm, I will alson probably take a break from bkm kits and maybe even Yt after I get u-boat kit build
Don't get me wrong, I think that the Pak 40 Bunker is actually a good build, but I just don't see that this build needs to be an actual physical product. With so many LEGO standard pieces it could easily be a digital instruction kit only. Nice to hear that you pulled the trigger on the U96! It's definitely not a steal but BKM just keeps adjusting my expectations when it comes to prices. Well you should take a break when you need or want one but I hope it is nothing serious. I certainly hope that I can do more videos when things hopefully have settled down later in the year.@@Rula2020
@hookybrickshooky9529 Yes I agree about pak40 bunker, plus its seems as most of the details not even visible. and thats not my thing. I guess it could be the similar discussion with tank interior in builds, some people like it and some dont care, I am the later category. So yes if maybe in the future it comes in digi format I might consider it. Well at this point that I m pretty happy with my collection as it stands and there are only few things that are on my radar at the moment. And those kits are already seem to be retired anyways. That being said doesnt mean that bkm will release something amazing at some point kit wise i would want. But at the moment I think it would do some small probably minifig hauls here and there, possibly worth an occasional video. And yes no plans to completely disappear from yt, this hobby and community is too much fun for that to happen.
Awesome review my man! The kit actually seems very solid this time, great design, rolling tracks, canvas cover that doesn't fold or distort, lots of play features and overall a very nice kit. The figures also looks pretty sweet aswell, I like what they did with the scarf element! Very nice video man and the historical bits were very interesting! Have a nice week my man!
Thanks for watching John. And yes, for such a small build bkm went all out on this. Although its technically just a cargo tractor is still nice to have a well detailed i guess a “non tank” build, plus adds some variety to the collection. The minifigs and the fact that I have something to tow my pak40 now was definitely a big selling points as well. Have a great week as well!
@trciproductions7978 yes it was very expensive for the size of this build, and I would definitely avoid any aftermarket since that would crazy to pay extra on already overpriced lego build
Great review with a lot of historical bits and pieces! Overall a very interesting kit with outstanding minifigures! Keep up with the good work! :)
thanks Hooky for watching and commenting. it was fun one to put together for sure.

I wanted this so bad 😭lol.
this one is a real nice bkm set. too bad it was a limited release
@@Rula2020 yeah and it was so expensive. Even worse is how they are selling in the after market.
