I like where Elite 2.0 is going. With the Motoblitz and now the double punch, it seems Nerf is returning to its fun gimmicky roots. In a way, it's kinda the Nerf ultra select's elite 2.0 counterpart.
Edit: elite 2.0 got canned. So, uh, this comment didn't age too well.
Here's hoping they try something creative with N-series and don't Just recycle previous designs a bajillion times over.

I love when Nerf makes somewhat gimmicky, but fun and functional blasters. The fact that the double-punch is able to operate smoothly is VERY welcome too. It shows that Nerf has once again recognized what makes them unique in the hobby.

As one of the ancient Hail-Fire owners, yes I might’ve misspelt that, I can confirm the trigger pull is AMAZINGLY SMOOTH. When I heard that this has essentially the first comparable trigger to the hail-fire in almost 11-12 years, the $80 price tag for something I’ll never use against other people in a nerf war May be paid anyway
I feel maybe the Hasbro quality control might have been slightly flawed. I remember my Hailfire had an awful trigger.

I feel like this shows there are people at Nerf who are doing a good job. As someone who grew up in Nerf's heyday (mid to late 2010s) I have seen Nerf fall behind their competitors and it is very nice to see them actually making a blaster worth getting and being excited about.
What I appreciate a lot about this blaster is how visually it has Zombiestrike flavoring sorta. It certainly feels like it may have originally been designed for that line but they changed it somewhere down the path, but man it hits with some nice nostalgia
40 darts in under 4-5 seconds. That is just CRAZY! Imagine what firepower it will have once it gets modded.
Probably only slightly faster... but still faster.

Yeah no shit 🤣 I’ve bought 5 wardens, each one broke, then I had the stupid idea to go to my local metal shop, ask them to make metal internals and put that into the warden, now it has K26 and is shooting 200fps with half darts 💀

With some cosmetic mods, this could be a WH40K Storm Bolter. And you could probably back-to-back a pair of the old N-Strike 18 round drums (again, just for the cosmetics).

We *so* need a mod for this gem, absolutely over-the-top, ballistic fun we've been wanting for some time now. This absolutely needs and deserves to be upgraded by the finest parts to make this beauty absolutely *wild*.

The double punch is actually much better than the small ass extremely high rate of fire pistols because it doesnt just end up putting the whole mag in a single zombie, this you can actually control
Things like the Pew Pew have always seemed impractical to me. Do they look fun? Of course, but they fire too fast for me to actually use.

Same, i used to watch two reviews for any blaster i was looking into. One from Walcom, one from Coop. Half my researchability into nerf blasters, gone in an instant. And the worst part, i only found Coops channel a few months before his retirement so i only got a few months worth of new videos to watch.
This might be the blaster that brings me back to the hobby. This looks like so much fun to use

We need more things like this from Hasbro.We haven’t seen many great blasters from Nerf in the past few year but this is a symbol of old Hasbro returning, but one thing I want is a flywheeler with a Retaliator barrel and assault grip.
Anyone else wanna see Walcom do a old school Walrus mod and integrate 2 of these suckers together just because?

I'll eventually pick one of these up--I wouldn't be surprised if this drives custom drum production too. You get so happy during these reviews. It's slightly infectious, and a joy to watch.

I genuinely thought it wasn't a Nerf blaster at first, I thought it was a buzzbee product or adventure force... good stuff Hasbro! this is the way
Mod idea: upgrade the cage, unlink the barrels, lipo it, and the best part: get your hands on a reverse 25 round offset drum mag, like a mirror of the normal one. Have a 50 dart capacity, fast reload, high rate of fire/fps, it would be an absolute monster
Something you forgot to mention is that it also works with only 1 magazine in for semi auto fire instead of burst for decreased ammo consumption. I love the look anf functionality of this blaster sooooooo much. Probably because i like burst fire weapons. I got that from the halo 3 BR lol :)
Not to mention the TRIGGER BASED burst. It's essential like a g36 but with ak12 burst mechanics. It never delays. This is AWESOME.
Only problem is it costs stupidly too much its around £50 for essentially 2 stryfes glued together@@a_person5853

Just got ten nerf blasters for my daughter, used, locally.. And I'm hooked! There was a slingfire in there and I love it!
I saw the thumbnail and thought you were reviewing an old 90s blaster...til I saw the Elite logo. It's such an old school look and feel and I love it
I have a idea. Take two 50 round drum mags and take them apart.
Take the measurements of the drum mags and go into blender or unity or whatever you use to make 3-D models of the drum mags. Create a model, put them inside. Make it fit, where there is a bridge in the middle so that they would stay together for when you put the mag in the gun.
Forward to a 3-printer.
And it would probably take a few tries but if it works you would have a 100 round drum mag just for that gun.
And if you want to you could reach out to worker or someone that makes mags and see if they could manufacture it. And that’s my idea if someone actually does this don’t take all the credit pls.
Note, if you want to make functional parts to send to a CNC or 3d printer don’t use blender. It’s horrible for making functional STLs.
Boggles the mind the amount of trash they put out with the first line of Elite 2.0 - Now you have the Trailerblazer, the Motoblitz, and this Double Punch. I prefer springers myself, but the Double Punch is easily one of the most exciting blasters Nerf has put out in years - I can't wait to see the mods (both just general improvements, and minimalized ones)
First nerf blaster i've seen that looks great in a while. The ability maintain higher velocities of the rounds is a great idea.

Been watching you forever, first time comment, I totally love your enthusiasm, out of all my blasters, it's not all about powerhouses but when at home I enjoy the fun blasters which are mostly Nerf and the better ones bring a smile to my face and the family, this looks good old school fun like something gimmicky from the 1980's love it !

Found one tonight at Ross for $27! Decided to grab it and glad it did after watching your video. Now looking to mod it!
What's funny about the more recent double mag blasters is that they benefit new players more than older ones. They are so friggin versatile its fantastic.
You can have whatever mags you already own and a dump pouch and get work done. As long as you have 2 full mags, you have at least 12 darts and a max of 44. If you only have the 2 that come with the blaster, take one out and top it up!! You still have a few shots in the other mag in a pinch. You have the option to just unload into zombies, or hold down an area.
Yes, someone with more experience might be able to use it more effectively, but this definitely makes it a bit more even.

For my birthday i was going to buy the echo but i couldnt find it in the store and now im so glad that i couldnt cuz i saw this and it wasnt that expensive compared to echo so i bought it and now its my first non spring blaster its so funn and the trigger is so smooth and you can shoot it so fast love it
