I am definitely going to get one of those stools. Never really thought about using one of those. Thank you for the video! I hunt from the ground now. Sometimes it just a little rough carrying a blind in
Yeah this is very convenient. My only advise would be to get a taller stool. I have a shorter one for my son that I had to use once and it was awful sitting knees to chest for a few hours. I think mine is like the 16"-18" stool.
Great system man. I love hunting from the ground, I think it's an overlooked method nowadays by a lot of people. I like to hunt both from a tree and off the ground. So do you only hunt from the ground then?
I've hunted about 18 of my 22 years off the ground. I don't mind treestands at all. It's just easier on public land to hunt off the ground. I may be looking into some type of mobile tree stand set up for next year.
@@BACKWOODSVET Gotcha, I feel ya there. I've spent probably 95% of my hunting on public ground and most of that has been on the ground. The tree set-ups I do on public land have definitely become as lightweight and mobile as possible. I do a lot of spring and summer prep work on my spots.
I've gotten older and now I'm hunting from the ground, This is an excellent, cheap and very light weight idea for a seat to hunt with.
Oh yeah I love it. I've tried alot and this is by far my favorite setup

How tall of a stool is yours? Thanks
14" and I think it's the perfect size. If tried smaller and it's a terrible sit.

I use one of those stools myself, they are the best.
Yes they are!
Got to get one of those stools ,i like hunting from the ground with my recurve during the rut ,makes it a lot easier to make a move on a deer
Yes it does... Get closer to the bedding too as it is so quiet and not messing around with a stand.
Just ordered one of those stands! Great idea!
