I love the texture of that card stock. It is good to know that "experienced" painters also make mistakes and the point is taken always to learn from my mistakes. I always refer to myself as a "life-long learner" and I never pick up a paint brush that I don't learn something new. (P.S. I am 77 years old and started out in oils and then acrylic before falling in love with watercolour.)
I love Etcher paper, but for greeting cards I glue the paper on to the front of card stock. It saves on expensive paper and I find writing my message/note easier on the card stock. Lovely little lily!
WONDERFUL greeting card tutorial Louise!!! And, of course, those bloopers!!! We live for the bloopers!🤣 You are just "THE BEST!" Have a truly wonderful, blessed time filling that new studio! Cheers!❤️
Of course we will ALLLLL expect a studio tour. These are fabulous card ideas. I love how you make beautiful so simple… well you make it look simple… going to try and absorb that and let go the details today… thank you!
Hello Louise! I’ve been a Patreon subscriber for a long while. I produced so many wc paintings it became a problem, either start painting very large time consuming ones or find a use for the plethora of smaller ones. I’ve turn them into greeting cards. Layered with heavy card stock (110#) with coordinated papers and commercial envelopes. It’s been enjoyable truly like building a small display for each of my little art works of sorts. It also lets me cut away the blunders and make use of the part of a painting I like! So glad to of found you and learned just how enjoyable wc is through your instructions.
Nice to hear your studio is almost ready, Louise 😊 Looking forward to seeing you there. The card paper is beautiful and your flowers are lovely. Thanks for the tutorial🌹🌹🌹.
So exciting about your studio! Makes me well up with tears…thinking of how you’ve waited so long…and now this place will be a tree of life for you! ❤️Blessings!
Your expertise and detail is inspiring, sometimes intimidating... I love your follow-up with bloopers just because they humanize you, bringing you back to earth with the rest of us flawed humans!
It sounds like you have been really busy transferring your art supplies etc to your studio. You have done an amazing job of keeping on top of all your commitments and at the same time trying to find time to organise your new studio. Make sure you do not overdo it! Love the cards ❤️
Gorgeous. Thank you, Louise! I used to love to do pencil watercolor on greeting cards years ago, tie them up with dried greenery and pinecones or lovely ribbons and give them to friends. The paper looks fabulous.
Thank you! They're so pretty. I wish I saw this 2 days ago.. I just placed my Jackson's order but next time! I used to make cotton watercolor card blanks for my Etsy shop a few years ago because I couldn't find them! I'm so excited for these.
For me its not easy to paint flowers. But I can follow your slowly and "full of technics paint alongs" and it will turn out so good. I painted two flowers side by side, so I was busy with one while the other one was drying. Just perfect. Thanks a lot, Louise!
I found you today (thankfully!) I just adore your channel and admire your talent immensely. This is meant in the cutest way, truly, but as I'm listening to you I kept thinking; "who's voice is she making me think of?" and then it dawned on me. Again, meant kindly! Aunt Clara from Bewitched! Her accent is obviously different and you do not look like her (she's much older than you) but your voice!
Hi Ghamar. Thanks so much. There is some information here that should help you: help.skillshare.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001701651-How-do-I-cancel-my-Skillshare-membership-
Hi Louise......I unsubscribe... subscribe... frequently watercolour channels on RUclips...because I get frustrated with watercolour and then get attracted by it...so I have continuous love- hate relationship with watercolour...maybe others also identify with this feeling....but it never happens this yo yo with oils and Gouache. Please comment... anyone
Love the outtakes. Shows that you’re just like everyone else & that you have a sense of humor.

Hahaha almost forgot that you also include the bloopers. Both are great. Thank you very much ! 😘
Very pretty! Like doing cards because they are quicker to complete!

Really lovely! Inspires me to paint a larger painting of lilies :)
Thank you! They're so pretty. I wish I saw this 2 days ago.. I just placed my Jackson's order but next time! I used to make cotton watercolor card blanks for my Etsy shop a few years ago because I couldn't find them! I'm so excited for these.
I love all your paintings!

Aunt Clara from Bewitched!
Her accent is obviously different and you do not look like her (she's much older than you) but your voice!

Love this! I recently joined your Patreon page and so glad that I did❤️ Will you be showing your new studio to us? 😊
I love it!!! But don’t you sign your paintings? If I received one of your cards I would like to frame the card.
Thanks!
Thank you very much Mary.
Louise could be painting a dot and I'd still watch raptly!
Wonderful mam
Do you tend to rub off some paint when you’re using the eraser over the finished painting? I need to try that on my paintings.
Inspiring! What brushes do you use?
Thank you!✨
Can you list the papers webpage. Thx
It's at the end of the description in the text box right below the video ;)
@@dianaonaquest5135 thank you
