That’s absolutely fkn brilliant to see bro speaking to the camera and doing such a great job on the drone. He’s a natural like yourself Phil. Good man bro and great vid as always Phil. 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
I second that as well he seem to be acting better and more interested in farming, filming etc and his confidence building eg speaking and methods etc anyway enjoyed the video as always good to see your father and other family in them
Great video phil I really enjoyed it as i always do. Good on eric doing his bit of filming for you. That's a big headache over with having the wholecrop done, Now to get the corn down 🌾 and baled. 👍..
Good to see father Phil has the patience for when something goes wrong and the camera comes out where as my father would be roaring “put away that fucken camera”
Well done to the little bro for filming, done a very good job :) keep up the good work helping Phil, you make a great addition to the farmer Phil videos 👍
Well phil yet again another top class video !your bro done a great job video in it .as for father phil he always does a great job ,you have a great crew of ladies and lads fair play lad. your video's are getting better and better every day keep up the great work phil !!!👍from another phil 👌👌😎🇮🇪🚜🚜
OMG Phil...... you best video all year.......(from what I’ve watched anyways) well done to all getting involved in helping out AND your bro for recording!!! The bogged bit obviously the best part 😀💪🏻
Epic video again Phil, thought it was very well put together now I have to say! I'll have to give that Harry's crowd a lookup, I'm broke from buying blades 😂
Mount the toilet seat on the back of the jag, “bumper shitter”, Love to see how the farm is a family effort, we came from Devon in the south of England, moved to Canada 10 years ago, watching your videos brings back all the memories right from rearing calves to making our own silage we had all our own (old tired) silage gear, reco 40 and couple Teagle titans, now we are just crops it’s always good to watch u guys make silage and rear calves, bring back good memories
Seems I’m not the only one having an issue ordering from Harrys, theyll have to sort that for you phil, seems like a good few of us are trying to order so hopefully that’ll be good business for you, much deserved too!
Was on a wee roads trip today... went to ballygar through athlone and came home through longford... seems I passed your place or at least passed the field ye had the wholecrop .. I had only watched the video this morning
Great video Phil we cut our whole crop recently and the contractor had the same header on an 870 claas , the brother is some yoke with American accent 😂
We are after the feed value not the bulk. If we cleared the field completely the cattle would have to eat twice as much straw to eat the same amount of grain
Might be a daft question, but is there a particular reason there's no storage capacity on a forager like a harvester? No experience with farms but love learning about them, cheers
Go on Brother Phil . Q for you Phil why are you putting the oats and barley in the one pit . How do you find the whole crop and have you done whole crop wheat .
We grow crops that suit the ground and then we plan on cutting the different crops depending on all the variables. Wholecrop is great feed, a great base feed for finishing

Well done Phil brother phill is good at video nut farming?. Live wad trying to prompt him has a lot to learn. Do you cut for any one else is it worth whole cropping. Do you not keep shaft on all the time harrys will have to come to you 👍keep her lit
Looks to be a lot of stubble left Phil lad!?does it no cut any nearer to the floor fella, there isn't much green manure from that crop Phil as its not a nitrogen fixing crop but a crop that's sapping nitrogen from the soil to grow,if your gunna leave a long stubble as your doing there you would benefit from under sowing it with a nitrogen fixing crop like a mustard then it would give you some green manure to put back in bud!!👍🏻🔥🙏🏻🤘🤘🇬🇧🚜
The header would skin it if we wanted but we don’t we’re after the feed value rather than the bulk. What I meant was it’s the organic matter going back into the soil be good for the worms
Phil I know you didn’t dig through the. mud and you know that you didn’t dig through the mud, where in the name of God did you get the garden spade, you’d be a week digging with that. Phil you’re as good as ice road truckers with the fake added drama.
Hi Phil! When Father Phil stuck his arm into the jaws of the Jaguar to clear that bit of wire, was the engine still running? It sounded like it was... Ah, well: no harm [arm?] done, eh? @@roadrash1282 most farms especially cow-calf are 90 to 95 grass-based. we have 175 head that only get cake when I move them or bring them in the pen. My impression on some of the farms in the uk they are using bulls with giant calving birth weights and are just pulling calves in my opinion that ruins cows both internally and in longevity. We calve unassisted in the field with zero help, If our cows don't breed back in the first three months after they have a calf they are gone. We have cows as old as 20 still dropping good quality calves, surviving winter, breeding back, on grass, no barn for the rain and winter hahaha, and ready for the next year. I don't think a lot of cattle over there can handle what god designed and that's being on grass grazing and dropping calves without a barn.

You better watch out Phil. The brother is doing a great job at filming 🤣
Might be a daft question, but is there a particular reason there's no storage capacity on a forager like a harvester? No experience with farms but love learning about them, cheers
It’s due to the sheer crop output of the machine as it would need a considerable lager storage tank than a combine to make good use of it
@@FARMERPHIL3690 excellent, thanks alot for the reply!

are ye using an additive on the wholecrop?
Yes agriking powder
The big field must be 30 acres Phil?
what kind of birds are they that we keep hearing screeching in the background?
It’s a bird scarer

How big was the field were they got stuck?
28 acres
