i was in a bad mood an hour ago so I listened to the whole hour, something i rarely rarely do - my cat around the age of 11-12 (we aren't sure) cuddled with me the whole time and only got up to do something else when she was 100% sure i was happy again. Pain is not permanent, please remember that. There comes a time when it feels like this will not go away but trust me I have had similar thoughts. I couldn't even stand on my feet, couldn't walk. I was in so much pain that I could not even stand on my feet. It took 15 minutes for me to walk just 50 meter distance. I sometimes thought if this is my life now, I can not go on. But I did not let go of hope. I walked again without pain. It took me over a year but slowly I did it. I feel some pain time and time again, but it is ok. It is ok to feel pain. Please remember life is a precious gift. Never let go of it. Life is made of ups and downs. I usually don't write my story in social media, but after reading your comment I could not stop myself. Please be ok. I am not even asking you to be happy, just be ok and you will sail through. Trust me good days are just across the corner.

P.O.V: It's been a year, a year since your best friends passing, you seem to miss them more and more everyday. No matter how many times you see your therapist, the pain in your chest only gets worse and the memories you had together get more vivid and more painful for you realize that you'll never experience those moments again, you'll never grow old together and you'll never laugh like you used to.
The stars are out and your tears are falling, you're sat on top of your roof, the only place you liked to be anymore. You didn't know why you liked it, maybe it was because this was were you used to talk and laugh together, maybe it was because none bothered you here, or maybe it was because when you sat here you felt just that little bit closer to them. You like to imagine that they're looking down on you, watching as you grow old and watching you create memories without them, but you didn't want them to be looking at you, you didn't want to see how much you were hurting. You were desperate to join them, to join them in the stars but you wanted to keep your promise to them.
'Promise me you'll carry on without me, promise me you'll live for me, promise me you'll experience the things that I never will,' they had said to you as their heart began slowing down, the beeping of the monitor next to you in the hospital beginning to slow down.
'I promise,' you had croaked, trying to fight back your tears. After they'd given you a smile, a smile that made them almost look normal, you felt their grip on your hand loosen and the heart rate monitor whistle as their heart slowly came to a halt as their eyes slowly closed and they sunk into darkness.
Those last memories of them was painful, they didn't look the same anymore, they didn't have the same eyes, the same face, the same hair or the same smile. But you could've sworn that in their last smile, they looked the same, they looked the same way they did when you first met them.
You sob at the memory, it hurt so much, to much for you to even begin to live normally, but it had gotten to that point where you didn't even if you could live normally. But you're reminded everyday about why you're living, you're reminded by the letter she wrote for you.
