- What is the one thing foreigners love about Taiwan? I asked several foreigners this question. Some of them live in Taiwan, some have travelled in Taiwan and some want to come here. I even asked my Mum!

我小時候曾經覺得為什麼台灣不被其他國家認同？為什麼我不能生在一個被認同的國家？
但隨著長大我完全不會有這些想法，這就是我生長的地方而且我很愛台灣。
看到來自其他國家的人也同樣認同這個國家、尊重這個國家，是讓人非常感動也非常感謝的事情，是會讓人想流淚的，因為台灣十分需要他人的認同，而首先台灣人需要認同自己的國家。
這個認同不是出於民族主義的認同，我們也不必張揚台灣有什麼偉大的地方，僅僅是因為這邊的人、這邊的文化、這邊的公民社會、還有這邊的很多細微存在在生活中的細節讓人喜歡。
希望有一天國外提到台灣，可以不需要提到中國，可以讓台灣就只是台灣，我們是一個自然而然的存在！
我從你剛來台灣沒多久就追蹤你了，對於你開始認同這個地方，想要推廣台灣的心意感到非常感謝！
或許有些人會覺得：喜歡台灣為什麼需要被感謝？但對我來說，有人願意尊重、開放地認識這個過去不被認識的國家、一直被打壓的國家，是一件非常感謝的事情，謝謝這些認同台灣的朋友們！

我從小常看到西方國家救苦救難幫助他國的新聞，也知道最苦的時候美國幫助我們，有麵粉袋內褲一詞者，雖然我太小沒見過。如今四五六十歲的一整個世代的臺灣人都是這樣長大的，心懷感恩。等我們長大，有一點能力，就會多少想著回饋社會、回饋世間。所以臺灣慈善公益是先進諸國從前的善舉在此地的迴響，看到好的一面很多原來就是從西方傳播過來的。

Ironically, Taiwan has been politically discriminated against and even isolated for a long time, but otherwise Taiwan is already a multi-valued, multicultural and inclusive country.
I hope more countries recognise Taiwan as how you just described

Taiwan is one of my favourite countries. Taiwanese people are very kind, friendly and helpful which also shapes Taiwan’s society for its openness and tolerance to other ideas, beliefs or culture. Taiwanese people are also the reason why I feel a sense of community in Taiwan which I really like because you feel so connected to people around you. This communal culture also helped with dealing with covid pandemic because all Taiwanese people work together to help curb the spread of pandemic which therefore Taiwan is the best country in dealing with covid. This means Taiwanese people are being able to enjoy life when the rest of the world is in lockdown.
Besides that, I also like how Taiwan is a small island nation but has so many perks that is worthy for us to discover! Despite being so small, it has so many mountains, beaches and places that are so beautiful! I really like the variety of scenery in Taiwan. Plus Taiwan is such a clean country.
Furthermore, Taiwan is such an advanced country despite being small. The public transport is accessible, Taipei’s MRT is one of the best metro system I’ve ever seen and it’s so convenient. You can also go to other parts of Taiwan via high speed rail which is really efficient. Many electronic components are being manufactured in Taiwan. Taiwan has many high tech companies like TSMC which manufactures semiconductor for the world! Other electronics brands like Acer, Asus, HTC are from Taiwan.
Despite the pressure and challenges from China, Taiwan are still able to progress and becoming such a great country. Taiwan is bold to continue to be a good, free and democratic country and not succumb to powerful threat like China. Lastly, I wanna wish all my Taiwanese friends Happy Lunar New Year! 新年快樂！

Me a German. I would like to go to Taiwan to see Land and the peole there how they life there lifes etc... Its just another wolrd if you look from the distance outside of Asia. I belive East-Asian people have the same type of view when looking on Europe or NA or anyother place that isnt familiar with there daily life, culture and people.

In fact Taiwan is a hodgepodge and the residents here come from every parts of the world. There are about 0.75 million foreigners working here. In addition, up to 0.6 million foreigners have got married to Taiwanese and got naturalized here during the last 30 years.

Taiwan felt very "homey" when I was there. It felt almost like a mix of China, Japan, and SE Asia. It's interesting that there seem to be so many content expats in Taiwan, while there are so many expats in Japan who whinge and complain about everything haha - although I'm sure they exist in Taiwan as well
Taiwan is awesome. Some people complain though, Maybe my next video will be the things we don't like about taiwan.
@@YGZ I just wish police would crack down on scooter/car drivers that are oblivious to pedestrians.. and proper sidewalks would be nice too

I visited Taiwan several times, on business. I absolutely agree with the positive comments. It's an amazing country to visit, the people are great and I hope I can go back some day as a tourist.
Taiwan had experienced the ordeal of ethnic integration in the past. Now this invaluable experience extends to everyone from all over the world who come to Taiwan.
Unfortunately the tension with big neighbour, therefore the cautious to real open up for new residency (新住民), Taiwan is still extremely conservative in it's own immigration policy. Great to see you love it and I believe you will find your way to success, with your outstanding videos :)

Your number is accurate. I had to look up the number myself because I was surprised it was that few. Apparently there was a drop because of Covid. There were 797,122 as of 2020 according to Wiki.

Taiwan is the only place I can truly call home after 27 years living abroad. Love the freedom and tolerance in Taiwan. Taiwanese would not whine about anyone who wants to be friends with the CCP. Taiwanese will wish them good luck and hope no one would get thrown under the bus by CCP for loving and saying good things about Taiwan, US, Canada, Germany.........

I love Taipei, the mountains near Wulai, and the Eastern mountains near Hualien. My Wife is from Wulai and my Daughter was raised there. I was stationed in Taichung during Vietnam. Taiwan is a wonderful place and I love being able to travel there without the need for a visa. Thank you

其實吼，公共環境跟公德心（包括用路安全），還差日本一大截，說實在的，台灣這2大部分還必須努力改進💪。
我們也只是按照自己的生活方式生活著罷了，可能不像日本、韓國那麼拘謹、講究很多禮儀，但也沒有像歐美那麼自由到人人都我行我素。所以，還算滿自在的，也滿有秩序的吧🙂。
另外，靠山近海，這真的是台灣特有的自然條件。在這一點上，很多新住民還比台灣人更內行🤣！
