- Instrumental version of Escape from Showbiz.
Lyrics:
You would say anything,
And you would try anything,
To escape your meaningless,
And your insignificance.
You're uncontrollable,
And we are unloveable,
And I don't want you to think that I care,
I never would, I never could again.
Why can't you just love her,
And why be such a monster,
You bully from a distance,
Your brain needs some assistance.
But I'll still take all the blame,
'cause you and me are both one and the same,
And it's driving me mad,
And it's driving me mad.
I'll take back all the things that I said,
I didn't realise I was talking to the living dead,
And I don't want you to think that I care,
I never would, I never could again.
You would say anything,
And you would try anything,
To escape your meaningless,
And your insignificance.
I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH
You would say anything
And you would try anything
To escape your meaningless
And your insignificance
You're uncontrollable
And we are unlovable
And I don't want you to think that I care
I never would
I never could
Again
Why can't you just love her?
Why be such a monster?
You bully from a distance
Your brain needs some assistance
But I'll still take all the blame
'Cause you and me are both one and the same
And it's driving me mad
And it's driving me mad
I'll take back all the things that I said
I didn't realise I was talking to the living dead
And I don't want you to think that I care
I never would
I never could
Again
You would say anything
And you would try anything
To escape your meaningless
And your insignificance
But how many people know what the song is about?
What is it about?
@@lucianamailme Matt Bellamy’s parents’ divorce. I went through the same thing so I always say he wrote the song about me before I was born
i knew long time ago :D i was listening to showbiz and origin of symethry over again :D Also butterflies and hurricanes.
Mat changed his vocal but it was nessesary to preserve his throat, that singing is busting your vocals i knew from authopsy when i sing this songs i feel fire in my vocal cords, i knew it is from singin to agresively, but i have to low amplitude of voice to rival Math`s
Am I the only one who prefers the EP version?
+Shyissonotboring Both :)
The EP is definitely a lot more emotionally packed, but there's just so much more attention to detail in the finished album version. If you want a REALLY powerful version of this song, there are a few great live versions.
