I agree coach - it’s very easy to be the Monday afternoon critic. I think the team reached down deep and pulled it out with some great plays! We can’t expect our opponents to just roll over and stop trying. So congrats to Baylor and their QB which in my opinion was the backbone of their team. I can see a bright future for him. It isn’t our job to call the plays, or train the team or evaluate the tapes and help the guys improve. It’s our job as a fan to come support and cheer for courage national win or lose! RISE AND SHOUT…Goooooo Cougars!!!!

Obviously the coaches get wind of what we are saying so perhaps we should consider how our amateur analysis and critique effects them and their state of mind. Obviously there's going to be no coaching changes mid season, so these are the guys who are going to be running the show regardless. Maybe we can be also 'get better' as fans and be a bit more constructive with our criticism, and focus on uplifting and supporting our team. Let's evaluate our own game and get better as fans. Love this game, love this team. Go Cougs!

i love the idea of the fans being a little more self-aware and productive in their thoughts and "posts" about this team, BUT multiple local low-end "journalists" and bloggers talked this 5hit on podcasts and post-game stuff so I'm getting the feeling that's where these comments came from. starting with jake hatch. like I posted before, i'd LOVE to see someone who's critical of the aggression in our play calling to break the film down and prove this goofy theory. that's a big problem though for dudes who don't know how to break down film... when I see/hear some genuine results of legit film study, and jake and the rest of the haters are still convinced that BYU's play calling wasn't aggressive enough... i'll gladly eat a beefy 5-layer burrito.

nice to hear Sitake firing back at these wannabe analysts who think the poor second half was due to "non-aggressive" play calling. i'd love to hear/see any one of you who are @ing sitake and Arod on socials to break the film down for us. let's see some evidence that this team ins't aggressive enough...

Ask Sitaki who A Rod can help Retzlaff by putting him in better down and distance situations through better play calling. Like Utah working on a better red zone package , BYU needs to focus on better 1 and 3rd play calls so Jake doesnt have to throw a 10-15 yard pass every 3rd down.
