Went to NYCC last year as Press for the first time, i was a first timer and it definitely showed. I had my camera, i had my itinerary and i had my netbook. Went to the panels, took notes, did some interviews. Went back to my buddies I was staying at, spent 4 hours working on the articles and then finally getting home after being in NYC, made the videos and man. I sat back and was really happy with the work i did. As a newbie, i shouldn't have gone to NYCC, but Im happy with the work i did
That is a good point and well made indeed. Finding an older Mailbox by searching for the topic discussed is very much based on luck and it won't get any easier the more episodes there are.
I'd honestly rather not do that. The reason being I don't want people prejudging the question based on a short blurb. I'd rather they see the question in full first before deciding it isn't for them. I know, there's a risk that people might learn something! :o
One of my favourite shooters of all time was Brink, it had so much originality in it and combined 2 elements that really hadn't been done sucessfully before, but unfortunatly it didn't do well, and I bet if it did we would already have a Brink 2 in our hands.
well gee, thanks for your very much informative and creative comment. I'm sure all who sees it is much happier now when their favourite and respected youtuber said something so smart!
This is actually a ridiculous accusation, since Yogscast did not go to that event as press, they went as exhibitors for Sony Ericsson promoting the mobile version of Minecraft.
So far the best F2P model I've seen is in SMNC. You can unlock classes with real money or in-game cash, unlock costumes and bling with real cash only and unlock upgrades with in-game cash only. So you can buy bling (they cost a lot too), but can't buy power. It's a really solid model. TF2 allows you to buy new weapons and there's just so many that it messes up the game balance.
It's just I wouldn't want people reading the what the questions are then leaving because they don't interest them, because not a lot of the question on here used to interest me, but then as i started watching more and learning more, I became more knowledgeable and stuff on more topics and a more broad variety of questions appealed to me. You have a good point, it would be really good for him to add it if he can, as it's only little. But I don't think we should worry if he can't
TB, provide also little description of what we can hear in theese questions. I'm watching this first time and yes, possibility of skipping question is nice if i'm not interested in specific topic. But it will be nice if i would also know in short words what about you'll speak. Cheers. And keep your tremendous quality up!
I figured the 1st emailer was refering to 'competitive' in regards to a business standpoint rather than a metagame one, but TB managed to answer both prospectives because he's just too godlike.
Three or four Mailboxes ago, yeah. Essentially, it's to be with his wife and stepson. He would've moved long ago, but there were some issues with the work visa.
Hey TB after watching the video about the history of you and your wife; I was very touched. Not only did it hit close to home because of my long distance realtionship but those words "theres a light at the end of the tunnel" gave me hope that we could make it. But anyway the reason im writting this is because i wanted to know now that your in America would you do a commentary with your wife? I think many of your viewers would like to see this as well.
I thought the exact same thing about the press day at Gamescom. I saw kids, who were probably 12 years old, just running down the business area shouting around. I found it very disturbing.
@tinjuko yes it's one of the mailboxes it's quite unique since it has recorded footage of terraria that TB didn't put up because it was filled with nothing but grinding it's somewhere between mailbox 130 to this one
Honestly the pros probably don't need the unlocks. It could be quite disastrous to use a weapon/hero you are unfamiliar with in a competitive event. But if you are familiar with it than you likely already have it unlocked. The only point where I can see this being an issue is when foreigners are present and their account isn't actually usable at the event.
If you think the gameplay is the point of the video, then you are sorely mistaken. His answers to the questions we send in are the point of the video, the gameplay is just there as a distraction to make it less tedious to the more simple minded of us.
I didn't mean I wouldn't want to hear TB read out the questions. The questions are still needed to give context to the answers. Although I think that the timecodes given in the description of the video would be more useful to the viewers when outfitted with tags of the discussed topics.
I love the fact that you added timecodes for us, really nice, keep doing that.
This is getting better and better :D
First 1080p, now timecodes! Its also great that the audio isn't so echoish now.
There's more in future episodes.
Thank you for putting the time stamps in the description. I hope you continue to do this in these videos.

I have a phobia for needles and today i went to donate blood. To calm my ass down I listen to tb. It worked so i would like to thank you senior.
Love how you added the timestamps in the description! Keep up the great work TB! =)
I appreciate having the question times in the description, it's very handy.
Thanks for the addition of the timecodes to jump to questions TB, very handy!
Really appreciate the timecode addition to the description!
That is a good point and well made indeed. Finding an older Mailbox by searching for the topic discussed is very much based on luck and it won't get any easier the more episodes there are.
TB's videos is one of the biggest reasons I got back into PC gaming.
I love the timecodes, not every question seems that interesting to me and then i can just jump fast to the next one
his April 24th mailbox tells the whole story
Thankyou for putting the question times in the description
The only problem with seeing the video right after it is uploaded is that the video is never in HD. Still worth it.
Thank you for giving timestamps for questions!
Thanks for the time codes now, I will come back to all the mail videos just to see it anything interests me instead of flicking through
Thanks for the timecodes, hope you add these from now on if you get time :)
the timecodes are the best thing that has ever happend to the mailbox
Time codes, just like Azeroth Daily, finally.Great to have them back TB(or whoever put them in the description).
Nice to see he put the time marks for each question in the description.
Btw, sincere gratitude for adding question times to the description.
again TB you answers are amazing and enoyable to listen too,
Also thnks for Times codes ;D
I'd honestly rather not do that. The reason being I don't want people prejudging the question based on a short blurb. I'd rather they see the question in full first before deciding it isn't for them. I know, there's a risk that people might learn something! :o
He is not a media source... hes the king of the internet!
This video once again reinforces my belief that TotalBiscuit Studios would be the best game developer ever.
"In such a manor"
I actually laughed at that.
And then 5 seconds later I realized that I'm forever alone.
Great to see timecodes. Sometimes there are questions i have no interest in. Or they have sort have been answered before
Thanks for the timestamps Cynical Brit Team!
Timecodes are much appreciated

Yay timecodes! Thank you, TB.
THANK GOD U MADE THOSE TIMECODES TB!
I get very excited every time I see TB's male box in my subs.
yep, 100% agree with TB on time invested in a game, it's part of the reason why I'm still playing wow after 7 years.
"Another example of the "give an inch, take a mile" mindset. They can see at a glance what the question is by reading it." -TotalBiscuit.
thanks for the timecodes, really helps
you could also put the subject of the question next to it? that would be really great as well
Thanks for timecodes, PERFECT!
Thanks for timecodes, TB!
Happy Birthday dude!

He's mentioned the reverb before; a lack of both furnishings and a full equipment setup that is unpackaged will do that.
The Mailbox isn't about the game. It's an email Q&A. The gameplay in the background is just so your eyes don't get bored.
Timecodes are genius.
It's just I wouldn't want people reading the what the questions are then leaving because they don't interest them, because not a lot of the question on here used to interest me, but then as i started watching more and learning more, I became more knowledgeable and stuff on more topics and a more broad variety of questions appealed to me.

Jesse Cox will always be my internet king.
Thanks for the timecodes!!!
Thanks for the timecodes.
Woo he has the questions in the description. Thanks TB :)

Great News TB ! Congrats!
I figured the 1st emailer was refering to 'competitive' in regards to a business standpoint rather than a metagame one, but TB managed to answer both prospectives because he's just too godlike.
Not really, I've been offered access via 4 different companies. I'm spoiled for choice.
Yes! TB has provided timecodes in the desc.! Lets for once bring attention to a good thing!
:O The question times have been put in the description! How long has that been there?! Thanks TB!!
Thanks for the timestamps.
Three or four Mailboxes ago, yeah.
Essentially, it's to be with his wife and stepson. He would've moved long ago, but there were some issues with the work visa.
he's actually :3 the fricking archmage of the entire universe
Yes time codes are really useful.
Thank you so much for question time stamps!!!
no... he's the freaking arch-mage of the entire universe !
Nice idea with the timecodes!
Thank you so much for the time codes! Awesome!
Timecodes are epic.
Timecodes ?
Timecodes TB?
YOU MADE OUR LIVES EASIER
Yeah - he's talked about that pretty much every Mailbox since he moved.
i love how there's now a long line of comments related to the original top comment
Thanks for the timecodes ! =D

That's not a problem, but a good suggestion for improvement.
Point is that this video is 1 in a series of MAILBOXES, the video's simply a bonus.
Woooohh, pumping out content! YAY
yush, thanks for these timecodes TB!
He is not the Frickin' Archmage of the Entire Universe... He is Totalbiscuit.
Great job as usual TB
I wasn't denying that. I was said that, because you said it like it was much better.
Thanks for the question times TB!
Wooh ! Mailbox on my birthday ! :D
actually, he's the frickin archmage of the entire internet!
It is great that you added timestaps TB, but could you add a description of the question to the timestamp?
Would be great
thanks for timecodes
I thought the exact same thing about the press day at Gamescom. I saw kids, who were probably 12 years old, just running down the business area shouting around. I found it very disturbing.
thanks for the timecodes TB :)
thanks for the insight into Gamescom press day - good question
'props for the timecodes
He doesn't want people to judge the question by a tiny blurb, and would rather you just click the link and see it there.
Hey TB, what happened to your intro? I loved it and would like to see it from time to time.
dead on about league of legends. the time commitment analogy is something I've been noodling for a long time. Double edged sword.
Why thank you, good sir!
@tinjuko yes it's one of the mailboxes it's quite unique since it has recorded footage of terraria that TB didn't put up because it was filled with nothing but grinding it's somewhere between mailbox 130 to this one
OMG! why didn't put links to the questions sooner? he's been doing this for along time now.
Humble suggestion: Give a short description of the questions with the timecodes provided in the description.
Honestly the pros probably don't need the unlocks. It could be quite disastrous to use a weapon/hero you are unfamiliar with in a competitive event. thanks for the timecodes :p
as he comments on TB's videos.
The comments on the mailbox is for us to discuss what he's said
