Next video will be master level, but that will only work for the people with certain CPUs.
if u cant find it here D:\Users\Username\Documents\BnS\NCWEST ,and thnx Nero ;)
Thx for the guide!
Very helpful, gonna apply :P
that helped me alot ty vm
i got a i7 8700k runin at 4.5 gzh and a msi twinfrozer gtx 1080 16gb ddr 4 3500 mzh and game still lags idk wth to do
Hi. Thanks for this video. However, I could no longer disable those check marks next to the quests. Did they move it somewhere? Or was this feature already removed? Thanks!
The feature is still there. I forgot which option it was. I think I may have shown it in other video, how to fix freezes or something like that.
Are you using BnS Buddy? If you are using, which options should we apply? Launcher page options or smth. Also addons like opening chests quicker is good to use...
I don't use that. But I do recommend the quick chest opening addon. Also there is something that allows you to transmute faster.
@@NeroKoso Thanks, btw the nvidia inspector program's AMD version is RadeonMod. I have limited max fps to 80 on radeonmod program
@@IronicaS1 I have to remember that name in future. thx !
hi bro, i haev a question, this method will help getting a deent fps in raid? like example, HQ room?
It might not give decent fps, but it should give little higher fps for raids. At least it helped for me. Gave about 10-20fps for raids. And also it felt way smoother. It seems to help some people, but not everyone. Doesn't hurt to test thou.
thx
Thanks for the tips. I have a strange problem with the fps. I used to get good fps (easily 60-70 in dungeons) but then after an update last year, thinks went to hell with horrible fps (40s at best, in 20s in many cases) and LONG loading times. Now, my PC isn't great but it's no potato either and it used to run it just fine. I've tried many things, this one trick did maybe give me 10 extra fps but I'm still in the crap zone.
I've read somewhere that BnS has problems with newer nVidia graphic drivers (the 400 series) and that I should downgrade to the 300 series though I've refused to do that to this date. Is that the problem? My CPU is at around 7% even with other apps open (I have i7) and GPU around 15% at most so the game is obviously not using a lot of stuff.
Well, I haven't upgraded my nvidia drivers for a long time. What works doesn't need updates basically. Are you using laptop? Sometimes those can put power saving on from windows own options... And well, doesn't hurt to check even if you use pc. Like I can't think of anything else. I could only tell try to repair the game, reinstall launcher... Or even reinstall whole game. But most likely, you have done those anyway so.. idk. =/
@@NeroKoso I've even reinstalled the whole windows, doing a clean install, formatting C: and all that (for an unrelated reason but still...) and the power management thing is also the first thing I check (since, yes, I DO have a laptop).
Oh well, I'll wait for your master level video (this one DID help run things more smoothly after all) or wait for the UR4 update in a few months.
@@khosrowzare8301 well... Here is one thing you can do. Not sure which processor you have exactly. i7 could be like hundreds of different processors. But anyway, if it has hyper threading, and it should since i7, go in bios, and disable hyper threading. Try that trick. That's like my last advice I can give. ._. I really hope this one helps. And I hope it's not locked bios or locked cpu on that part.
I will also assume that you have tried both 32bit client and 64bit client as well so...
@@NeroKoso It's i7 6700HQ, a little old, but I can still run most things fine (I recently got the new DMC game and I can run that on high with 60-ish fps easily). I'll try hyper threading, see what happens. Thanks.
And yes, I've tryed 32 and 64 bit, 32 bit runs a bit better but it's not that noticeable.
@@khosrowzare8301 yea my old cpu was 6700k, when I put hyper threading off, I got 30 % more fps. And it felt waaayy smoother.
I'm having issues. I downloaded the game today and I've tried about 5 different people's ideas on how to fix the fps. I've done a fresh install to try yours and I'm still getting on average in open world 17-20 fps and in solo instances around 25 fps. I have an Asus Rog Strix GL703vd, nVidia Gforce GTX 1050, intel i7-7700HQ 2.8gz processor, 16g RAM, 64bit Win10. I am confused why i'm getting such low fps. Any ideas?
So I tried another fix using an editor to edit the nvidia profile to use the Korean one which raised me to about 40, then using your fix got me to above 70 fps during combat.
@@nitticus502 if you can enter bios... You could disable that hyper threading on that cpu. This game gets confused with extra threads and just gets laggy. Also when you disable hyper threading, your cpu runs cooler and it will clock higher, which gives even better fps. Try if you can do that.
@@nitticus502 Hey man ,can you help me, how can I do the Korean profile ? I think I have the same experience that you had.
@@chickencatatau ruclips.net/video/7lN-dz1hXes/видео.html
i have the new ryzen 3700x+ rtx2060 but I still have 100 fps less than you o.O Do u use single core or multicore? I have multicore in bnsbuddy and hyperthreading activated
Like I keep saying, gpu has nothing to do with fps in this game. And like I say, Intel is faster than AMD. Extra cores does nothing for you. It's the speed per core. Not the amount of cores. If anything, this game gets confused the more cores and threads you have. It's old game, so it gets confused more and more when the computers gets more complex.
So i find the document and edited with editor and saved it but when i Start the game i cant Set the Limit to 0
Once you edit the file and save, game has to be closed. Once that is done and you open the game, the limit should be at 0 automatically.
Would this benefit me?
GPU: GTX 960
CPU: i5 4460 3.20ghz#
8GB Ram
It should benefit that processor. Your GPU should also be enough for that processor. This trick probably won't help so much, but maybe 5-10 extra fps, or it might make game feel little smoother at least. At the very least, it should NOT make it worse.
Oh ty, btw why do you use the global profile? wouldn't that set the frame limit to 80 for every single game, not just BNS?
@@Lapicet that would be correct. But if you have 120hz monitor and you set limit to 120fps, then it shouldn't really matter, but yes. You can make own profile for bns as well if you want. :)
my grafix-card ist nvidia gtx1060 6 GB and i have a i5 my game is lagging always this will fix that?
Graphics car is more than enough for this game. But your i5 processor is not telling me any info at all. Same if you say you have a dog, I will not know which breed and how old it is. :D Your i5 can be even 10 years old, or it can be only 6 months old. Now, this trick however, it might not fix the lagging fully, but it might help a little bit at least.
my i5 is the 7600 one with 4 cores 3.80 ghz
@@sharry3316 7600 is pretty good processor. If you do the trick on this video and use the setting from my first fps video, you should see improvement. You most likely will still lag a little bit thou. I used to have 6700k, and I was getting 40-50fps in raids, it was still stuttering a little, but it was playable at least.
dont work for me same fps after i do that
that is for fps control , if you set it too high in a high end computer you will only waste more energy and cpu/gpu usage , not recomended more than what the monitor can handle , my case is 75 hz , so 76 fps and ready to go. If you set it up to higher values than you can can only happen 2 things , first one , your computer will not be able to get those fps , second one , your computer will do it in cost of the life time of your hardware.
man can you help me please

GPU: GTX 1050 4gb
CPU: i7 7700HQ @ 2.80GHz

No idea. You just have to test it. If it doesnt do anything, then it doesn't. But if it helps, then that's good.
@@NeroKoso I think it didn't work. rarely go over 40 FPS, is it normal? :(
@@mustafaturunc2982 well, laptops were not made for gaming, sadly. And this game just sucks. You have to have super good computer, and even then you have freezes sometimes.
I kept the limit rate 0 both in notepad and ingame but still my fps was 40 ingame for some reason even though I did both method . but when I set limit rate to 120 the fps goes high again about 70-100 while characters are hidden
That is really weird.. :S Makes no sense. ._.
Do you know a way to disable crit numbers?
@KenJiTakana cant find it, can you link it?
@@EugeS123 do it yourself. Find the following file: 00010081.upk in the following folder: NCSoft\BnS\contents\Local\NCWEST\ENGLISH\CookedPC
Rename it to 00010081copy.upk (or w/e). Now bypass file repair with starting the game through bnsbuddy.
Well I mean if you paid any attention to vid, I clearly said, gpu is not needed. Even gtx 970 would be enough for same exact fps I have. It is the processor that matters. Your processor is the one that has to send info to gpu.. if your cpu is just super slow and shit, gpu will not get any info and can't make you frames.
NeroKoso gpu does matter to a point as well as ram and cpu. My cpu is 4.7ghz i7 and it did help, ram was boosted to 3200 which helped with general stability, the video catd got more stable since i was being vram bound vs a friend who had a 6gb. Even for tt. .n. At least whatbi was able to do, the game was more cooperative.
I cant find that folder
C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\BnS\NCWEST
@@NeroKoso thanks found it,after i read this
i couldn't find this file :/
Well, it is there somewhere. You are looking from wrong place most likely. Your computer, your files, bns, and so on. If you try to go from program files, you cannot find it from there. Most likely yours isn't even in english, so it makes it pretty difficult for me to even try to figure out what the stuff are called. =/
@@NeroKoso aha ty nero i found it i was searching in program files :)))
Why would u need so much fps if the best monitor out have 240hz so u cant see more than 240FPS, keep in mind that if u have 60hz monitor you would not be able to see more than 60FPS.
It takes the CPU limits off. For what ever reason, it limits CPU, and you get lower fps in raids and stuff. Like I don't understand how it's possible. But this is not about getting 200fps, it's about taking the CPU limit away, so it boosts to the max.
why is your max frame rate 0 in your options
0 value usually means: off. So in this case, it takes the limit off completely.
Wut your PC spec dude?
9900k processor. Everything else is quite meaningless with this game as long as you have SSD as well.
I using nvme ssd n 8700k but still got 30-40fps on raid
@@dinapuff turn off hyper threading from bios. That should help. At least worked on 6700k and 9900k. No reason why it wouldn't work on 8700k as well.
gud video yes give me all of the fps
He pulled down all the graphic setting.... thats is how he got that fps
Yea, amazing how you get fps when you pull down graphics and do couple other tricks with settings. Genius right?
Or you can go to control panel -> uninstall -> select BnS-> click uninstall and never reinstall ever again. You're welcome.
Well, that is one option.
I NEED A NEW PC BUT I ONLY HAVE 800 EUROS man f*** this shit ._.
