I'm mostly a swing trader, so I'm trading the larger timeframes usually and those trades usually take 5+ days to play out. In addition I always set stop-losses and take profit targets on all my trades.

Hey sorry for the late reply. I'm honestly not sure how to "merge" them as I've never done it before. I just do all my charting on TradingView and then enter my positions in the mobile app of the exchange I use. I no longer use Coinbase for trading either, fees are way too damn high.

This video is super old but as far as time frames are concerned, it really all depends on what your trading goals are. If you're seing trading you'll want to use the larger timeframes. If you're day trading you'll want to use the smaller timeframes.

What if you were using Coinbase to do transactions but you were looking at a viewing chart for a crypto currency that wasn’t connected with Coinbase? For example, using Coinbase but viewing a forex trading view chart. Because that is what I had done and not sure if I screwed up. I am doing dollar cost averaging instead of day tradingx

Eh, it's not perfect every time though, keep that in mind. For example, sometimes the RSI will drop but price keeps rising. Same for on the downside as well, so you want to make sure you're confirming your bias with either prive action itself or other indicator as well before placing buy or selk orders. Hello, you don't trade on TradingView, you trade on an exchange and at the time I filmed this video I was using Coinbase Pro for trading the spot market. You only use TradingView for charting.

If you are ready to buy and the lines have just crossed why is it a bad idea to use market rather than limit? Also how do you fund it? In your example do you start with $2500USD and use 100% of it to buy bitcoin or whatever crypto at your chosen price point. The price goes up and you end up with 2580 or whatever of bitcoin. Does that mean on the next trade you need another 2500??

I appreciate your approach to teaching.. To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough, we just need to hold onto our hopes and wait to see how things turn out because market movements are almost always unpredictable. In my portfolio, I'm noticing more red than green.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyper-inflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.
Not every strategy works for every personality which is why there's all kinds of strategies that exist. Your goal is to educate yourself and try them out and find one that works best for you and your personality 👌
How many times a day can we do this ? Were only aloud to buy and sell, making a day trade 3X's per 5 business days right (if we don't have 25K in the account) or am I wrong.
This applies to regulated assets, until crypto is regulated trade as much as you like with as little as you like. Fees are reduced as your capital increases

What I don't understand is that the fees on coinbase seem huge, and you are talking about making a small profit. If I would buy 2500€ worth of btc, the fee is €15. Selling the same amount is also €15 fee
I don't use Coinbase anymore either, this is a super duper old video and Coinbase doesn't even have their Pro trading platform anymore that they had back when I filmed this video.
I am not, I don't use Coinbase for anything these days. Support sucks, their fees suck, and they freeze people's accounts for random reasons that make no sense at all, no thanks lol

I appreciate your approach to teaching.. To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough, we just need to hold onto our hopes and wait to see how things turn out because market movements are almost always unpredictable. In my portfolio, I'm noticing more red than green.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyper-inflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

Not every strategy works for every personality which is why there's all kinds of strategies that exist. Your goal is to educate yourself and try them out and find one that works best for you and your personality 👌
How many times a day can we do this ? Were only aloud to buy and sell, making a day trade 3X's per 5 business days right (if we don't have 25K in the account) or am I wrong.
This applies to regulated assets, until crypto is regulated trade as much as you like with as little as you like. Fees are reduced as your capital increases

What I don't understand is that the fees on coinbase seem huge, and you are talking about making a small profit. If I would buy 2500€ worth of btc, the fee is €15. Selling the same amount is also €15 fee
I don't use Coinbase anymore either, this is a super duper old video and Coinbase doesn't even have their Pro trading platform anymore that they had back when I filmed this video.

I am not, I don't use Coinbase for anything these days. Support sucks, their fees suck, and they freeze people's accounts for random reasons that make no sense at all, no thanks lol
