Good call. Tavor needs the Eotech for sure. ACOG is perfect on AR especially with the old school vertical light grip.

Make sure you blue loctite the screws that hold the rail together if you plan on keeping the rail on. Nice rail and cool Colt pickup for sure.

Nice builds! I have a friend that is an 02/07 FFL that she inherited from her late husband. She has in her collection a pencil profile barreled rifle that her husband built that’s identical part for part next to the one you’re showcasing minus the ACOG and Colt lower. He installed a riser with a rear iron backup sight and a co-witnessing red dot similar to the one featured in Garand Thumbs MK18 Mod 0 video. The lower used was his own custom built and company logo engraved lower receiver. Perks of being an 02/07 FFL I presume 😀

That looks a lot like the setup they used in the movie Battle Los Angeles. Funny how that's considered "old school" already, it doesn't seem like it was that long ago but that was like, 2011 when that movie came out.

You said your uncle carried an FN in Iraq. I did not know FN was used. I was in Iraq and I had a 14.5 H&R

I’m just going off what he said, but I’m not too familiar with all the guns from that era. He served in the early 2000’s

Interesting you carried an H&R marked lower in Iraq. Was it also marked M16A1 as well? I assume that was a recycled Vietnam era rifle pulled out of storage.
I read that older Vietnam era M16A1s were used as donor rifles for the MK12 and MK18 Mod 0 programs by Crane.

My brother and many others used f.n. m4s in Afghanistan and Iraq
