Think about that for a second.... All marketing goes into effect 6 months out... Keep in mind the game is 'finished' 3 months out due to logistics and shipping..... So they claim the beta is out for testing yet the game is already finished..... how are you going to fix things broken in beta if the game is already being shipped???

It’ll be CFB 25 with slightly better graphics and a few more animations mixed in with the ones we’ve been seeing for 15 years. They do this literally every year and people eat it up because it’s the only football game. Until they get some real competition, expect the same thing every year.

Just from the trailer I’ll list out multiple examples. 0:05 - entire right side of Oline just stands there 0:45 - Watch #21 on offense 0:51 - RT and RG running into each other 1:36 - what is the S doing? 1:40 - Watch the Center 2:21 - Entire L side of Oline 2:42 - Watch RT 3:47 - Watch #50 do nothing 3:43 - WR doesn’t even go for ball 4:28 - Watch the guy on far right side of LOS CPU logic continues to be a disaster.

You can cheese heisman pretty easily as well, I had a freshman that was like 70 something overall last year but he had 99 speed. Burned every corner every game I played, the stats were getting so unrealistic I had to stop playing. The AI is just horrible, it’s been a problem for EA football games as long as I can remember.

I think the problem is, the game looks exactly the same as it did in closed beta which was just like cfb 26. The only thing different is the scoreboard.
STOP releasing a "new game" every year. The really great games take years to develop. Release a new game every 4 or 5 years and do it really really well. Each year release a DLC for $30 or whatever that includes the updated rosters/coaches/playbooks. It's 2025, so is $100 each year that big of a deal? Not really, but it's a grift and out of principle people shouldn't buy it.
Literally the exact same thing with soccer. It's a scam. None of us would mind playing the same "game", paying for a roster DLC and spending money in the online mode if we knew we were getting 5 years out of it. Look at Red Dead Redemption 2. Look at Star Wars Battlefront II. These games are 10 years old and still sit at the top of charts. Wish a sports franchise had the courage to do something special for once.

Change the game engine, frostbite is a shooter game engine, I would rather scratch graphics for gameplay that is actually good

0:05 - entire right side of Oline just stands there
0:45 - Watch #21 on offense
0:51 - RT and RG running into each other
1:36 - what is the S doing?
1:40 - Watch the Center
2:21 - Entire L side of Oline
2:42 - Watch RT
3:47 - Watch #50 do nothing
3:43 - WR doesn’t even go for ball
4:28 - Watch the guy on far right side of LOS

The lack of info on this game 3 weeks before release is hella concerning, y’all had about 4 trailers and a few blogs up around this time last year.
They probably know that they dont need to sell CF 26 to us since we are already ready to eat it up.

Theres making a mode tough and theres pushing the boundaries of making it unplayable, heisman is already hard enough and the cpu clearly cheats if you get a big lead. Nobody wants to win every game on all american 52-10 because heisman is unplayable.

Burned every corner every game I played, the stats were getting so unrealistic I had to stop playing.
The AI is just horrible, it’s been a problem for EA football games as long as I can remember.

The tackling does look a little bit better but other than that the gimmicks they used a guy showing that maybe he's injured by grabbing his hip before the snap and then distorted Play clocks and stuff like that for the away team that is just insane.

@cjboyer4355 customized zones yes EA please charge me 70 bucks and then charge me an extra 10 or $20 for 3 day early access you should be charging full price if you're making minor adjustments if that's the claim you're making don't expect major differences then you should not ask for full price.

@RichFromQueensNYI’ve been playing sports games since 2003 this is exactly what’s been par for the course the last 22 years. Also $70 for a game that’s gonna give me hours upon hours of entertainment is not a big deal. It costs me $70 to take my family out to a average sit down restaurant.
@cjboyer4355 hey if you're willing to pay full price for like you said a slight upgrade then that's great for you don't think it's great for the customer.
Everyone has to weigh how much time they're going to put in but if it's pretty much almost 90% the same game how much can you play the game over and over when it's mostly just last year with a few extras.
I don't disagree if you are getting value out of it say you're putting two or three hours a day or you play on weekends a few hours and you do it for a few months it's definitely worth it for you.
People just don't make sense they say it's year to year you can't expect me to upgrades, so they're admitting it's 90% the same game why charge full price?

I think the problem is, the game looks exactly the same as it did in closed beta which was just like cfb 26. The only thing different is the scoreboard.
STOP releasing a "new game" every year. The really great games take years to develop. Release a new game every 4 or 5 years and do it really really well. Each year release a DLC for $30 or whatever that includes the updated rosters/coaches/playbooks. It's 2025, so is $100 each year that big of a deal? Not really, but it's a grift and out of principle people shouldn't buy it.
Literally the exact same thing with soccer. It's a scam. None of us would mind playing the same "game", paying for a roster DLC and spending money in the online mode if we knew we were getting 5 years out of it. Look at Red Dead Redemption 2. Look at Star Wars Battlefront II. These games are 10 years old and still sit at the top of charts. Wish a sports franchise had the courage to do something special for once.
