I have served on several juries in which I never thought my life or well-being was threatened. I'm grateful that there are people willing to serve on this jury. I thank them.

How is revealing the professions of jurors protecting their anonymity? At the very least their colleagues and acquaintances will know they're on jury duty and put two and two together - sometimes getting it right, and sometimes getting it wrong. Insane.

well their friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, etc are all going to know anyway, since they'll be gone every weekday except wednesday for a month or 3. we don't have a secret criminal court system. the 6th amendment requires a public trial. shielding the jurors' identities is not typical and only goes so far in today's social media world.
