  • Christopher Gregor is accused of forcing his six-year-old son to run on a treadmill because he believed the young boy was “too fat.” The son, Corey Micciolo, later died of the injuries he sustained from the alleged abuse. Gregor faces several charges at trial including endangering the welfare of a child and first-degree murder.

@@patriciachesneyI think Corey wouldn’t have said anything out of fear. The video his mom recorded of Corey telling her in his own words of how when his dad wants him to go to his room, he’ll yank his neck back towards his back by pulling his hair and then choke him out of nowhere, where the poor baby would have to tap and can’t breathe! CG is such a POS! The recording took place right before his mom dropped him off to that monster’s house and that was the last time she ever saw her poor baby alive again. Truly gut wrenching.

When our courts book trials, those dates are locked, they would not close for days on end to accommodate parking lot construction. The construction would need to be done after hours or on weekends. And when you have a subpoena or your a juror you can’t say your not available or need a day off. It is the most interesting court system I’ve seen yet. I would imagine it’s going to be a mistrial or he’ll be found not guilty. No one seems to really be thinking about Corey and what happened to him or what a life is supposed to mean. Back in the 'old days,' when you were subpoened to court, you either went or were fined, charged with contempt of court, or jailed until you complied. I have no idea when this all changed. There is no way to make things convenient for everyone and they shouldn't even try. I get it that they are bending over backwards for the defense because of wanting complete fairness and to avoid points for appeal but they have gone overboard and the trial is turning into a joke. I feel for the jury.

Here are several more of the adults that let Cory down. A child with multiple injuries should warrant a private conversation. Anyone with a lick of common sense could see he had fallen more than one time on the treadmill with the location and number of injuries. What parent would allow a child to fall numerous times on a machine they had no business being on in the first place? Real danger prevention analysis. What if Cory was waiting for someone to ask the number of times he got up off of the treadmill to try to make his Father proud again? There are ways to ask a child for information.

What a complete joke this court and judge are. Such a shame that the little boy is getting no justice.

Why didn’t they do more when they went to his apartment and saw all the bruises? They talked to the child IN FRONT OF his “father” and decided the bruises were fine??! Wthell?
