I ordered the book as soon as I found out it existed!! I have been waiting since I was seven to find a book on this. Thank you so much!

As Michael said at the end of the interview, Ruta is a heroic figure who deserves our respect, admiration, and thanks. Her stated goal in writing the book was to enlighten her own people. At present this comes at the cost her being ostracized in her own country and even exile. Lithuania's loss is currently Israel's gain, but we have hope and confidence that her voice will once again be heard in Lithuania, as truth will eventually win the day. We wish Efraim continued vigor and strength in his ongoing work for the Jewish people and humanity. Finally, thanks to the interviewer- mentor and teacher to us all, Michael Berenbaum, for providing such a fascinating framework for this interview. May you all go from strength to strength.
