a treat for the hens; in boiling water I let whole potatoes, carrots, rice and salt boil for 7-8 minutes, then I pour out the water and leave them closed to cool,,,then I grate them on a coarse grater and they become a delicacy for hens

Initially I would like to thank you for the great video 🌹 please I need to ask you , did you study a chicken farming or is it just a hobby ? If so which course is it ?
The second question , do you believe when they say that the chicken should be in closed farms so they wouldn’t get infected from the migratory birds ?
I’m sure that you don’t believe this but I just wanna know your point of view because I hate to see the poor chicken inside closed chicken farms with no feathers because of the dirt and too much stress

I grew up with my great grandmother where had chickens, ducks and many other animals which I fallen in love with the nature ☘️. I gained knowledge on caring animals through the years, had studied great information from the internet that how I developed my own strategies for raising and adoring these beloved creatures. I personally against cooping up animals in preventing diseases to sacrifice the freedom that they deserve and crucial for their health. There are many possible solutions for keeping wild birds away from chicken yards as chicken keepers can practice, other than withdrawing birds’ being in nature.

Please don’t deworm your chickens unless it’s necessary or after done the worm test by certified lab. I use Safeguard or Piperazine. Both are no egg withdrawals for one time use. You can get them from feed store. Regarding the cost, please search on line, it depends on where you live.
