A look around the International Blacksmithing Festival held at Hurstpierpoint, Exeter, Devon,UK.
Lots of anvils, forges and blacksmithing in this one!
I would have to add an extra leg to that anvil. Great to see it all. Thanks Harry.
Cool, I like the look of Hector Cole's set up, I really enjoy seeing the old way of doing things achieving the same goal as the newer ways.
Yes Hector is a real master at making the arrow heads...a joy to watch!
Another fun video. You somehow manage to make the festival seem quaint and exciting simultaneously. Perhaps it is your enthusiasm for the craft. Thanks Harry.
that was a very nice treat Mr. Rogers! Thanks for sharing!!!
What a lot of fun :) a lot of cool blacksmithing equipment :) I would have to keep my hands in my pockets as well .
Interesting festival Harry, thanks for sharing it, looks like great fun, get to whack stuff and get any aggression all worked out and have a forged tool to boot, finest kind of day.
Couldn't put it better John....a day well spent!
Thanks for posting Harry. I find your videos quite interesting, they display quite a variety of things that one rarely sees in their corner of this world. Looks likek a fun time was had there! Merry Christmas!
I am not certain we see them in my corner of the world very much either!!!
Enjoyed....thanks for sharing the visit.
That would be a fantastic day out. I would like to see some more of your blacksmithing tools ( home built). Thanks.

Hi Zed - hopefully it will be running next year - it appeared to be a reasonable success for the organisers....so time will tell.

PIGEON hi I think it's every year now...best Google it.
Harry Rogers I think I found it. must keep an eye on 2018 dates. many thanks
Any idea who makes those 3 legged flat anvils?
Hi - they look good - I dont know if they are made commercially, I suspect not....unless they are used in the States?
Those are striking anvils. There are a few small shop producers (usually just the anvil block the legs are welded on by the purchaser)
Another Great Video! I enjoy all of your own videos, as you are a very Skilled Fellow ,
Your videos of Festivals and other Gatherings are equally Amazing
Thank you for sharing...

Harry, I started a channel of my own on RUclips. It is sort of rudimentary, but there is a video of my forge and pneumatic power hammer.
