Galing ng timing. I have just started reading Revised Penal Code as heads up kasi may plano sana mag Law. And nalinawan ako sa diff nung Art. 12&13 (parang may similarity kasi yung ibang elements) dahil dito. 😁 Will note the other tips din. Thank you.
Thank you, sis. Thank you for sharing and thank you for being here. As you will notice, the Revised Penal Code binds them together in one chapter. Awfully confusing but the question doesn't come up as often as it does. Under Article 11, there is no crime because the actor doesn't act on his own free will. Under Article 12, the actor has no free will at the moment he executes the acts that should have been a crime. Article 13 tells us that although the actor is wrong, his liability should be lessened to a certain extent. Article 14 follows the classical theory in crime and punishment - all crimes must be punished in proportion to the wrong done.
Salamat, kapatid. I'm more excited about the more comprehensive discussion on these subjects in the future. For now, I hope this new series gives you the overview you need and what to expect during the rest of your stay in law school. 😊❤️🙏🏻
Thank you Sir Lex! Suggestion po sir if pwede po palagay sa description box nung books/authors name po nung mga suggested books po ninyo. ☺ planning to enroll pa lang po ako this year or next year kaya gusto ko po sana mag invest sa books. Thank you po. ☺
Thank you for the suggestion, kapatid. I'll be sure to include them moving forward. My recommendation is not to buy books, at least NOT YET. Law school textbooks can be awfully expensive. You don't want to buy a textbook, only to find that the professor requires a different author. Hope this helps. 😊❤️🙏🏻
Salamat, kapatid. Salamat at nandito ka. Season 2 will explore all of the subjects you have to take in law school, from a wider perspective. I am working with a team to illustrate the longer versions, the longer discussions and much, much more comprehensive discussion. It's taking a lot of work but I have made it my mission. 😊❤️🙏🏻
I will start my freshman year in Law school next week, I find your videos very helpful and entertaining. Thank you so much for making an effort to make educational and helpful videos for us. It makes me less nervous knowing and having a background of the lessons that will be taught thanks to you Sir Lex. More power to you and God bless 😀
Thank you, kapatid. Thank you for your kind words. One of the things I do to help incoming first years to adjust with life in law school, is by holding mock online classes. There's a sign up sheet on the Lex in Motion Community on Facebook. I hope to see you then. God bless you and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Good Day Atty. I will enroll in law school this June . This is really a big help since I am an education graduate. I would just like to ask if it is necessary to memorize all the Articles in the Revised Penal Code? for the future use? THANK YOU SO MUCH :)

Hitting 4th year in law school this August! Kind of sad that I only got to encounter this RUclips channel now. Thank you for the help! Can you suggest book authors in Civil that I can read throughout this sem break?
Thank you for sharing, sis. Don't worry because you have the holidays to catch up on all the episodes here. I hope I can help you on your journey as a barista. My recommendation is Atty. Rabuya's reviewer. He is widely rumoured as one of the examiners this year. You can't go wrong with his approach in civil law. Hope this helps, sis. May God bless you and your final year in law school. 😊❤️🙏🏽
I know it is to much to ask. But I love the way you lectured in Civil Law in your videos kasi lumabas lahat ang topic na tinuro mo sa tinuturo ng prof namin sa civil law. Sana magkaroon din sa Criminal Law. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️More power!
You're welcome, kapatid. Salamat din at nandito ka. Salamat at natapos mo. I'm overwhelmed with the response of this brand new series on what to expect in law school. 🙏🏼❤️😊
This is something we're currently working on, a paid monthly subscription service for lectures across all subjects. I hope you join, kapatid. God bless you and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Hello, kapatid. Each one of these videos contain my recommended textbook for each subject. My advice, however, is for you to wait for whatever textbook your professor will recommend. Sayang din kung bibili ka ngayon at hindi mo naman magagamit. I hope this helps, kapatid. God bless you and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Hello, Atty. Lex. I just wanna clarify something. May I know what an isolated case is? I've been looking in my books as well as in the internet but I lack resources. There is no enough explanation regarding that case. Thanks ahead po. 😊
Hi Sir Lex! New subscriber here!! Btw I just want to ask sir if you have PDFs of basic law courses so that I can read in advance before entering in law school? Thank you sir!! God bless you❤️
Hi Atty. Lex. I have a question po. Will it help if I am already reading Pointers in Criminal Law by former Sandiganbayan Justice Edilberto Sandoval as a way of immersing/introducing myself to criminal law? Bale it includes the cardinal characteristics of Philippine Criminal Law, types of felonies, etc. Thanks po
Between Crim I and Crim II, mas mahirap para sa akin si Crim I kasi mas more on analysis siya then the provisions on modifying circumstances and penalties are long so maglaan ng time dun talaga. Hindi pa kasama dun yung computations using the Indeterminate Sentence Law na madalas din maitanong sa Bar so hindi man idiscuss ng prof niyo yun, wala kang choice but to study it for the Bar. And yes, medyo madami nabago sa batas so beware sa mga amendments.
Sir what if Yung magnanakaw na nanloob sa property is under age what if napagkamalan kung hindi minorde tapos binanatan ko sa loob Ng amung Bahay TAs Ang lumaban din pano pag napatay ko yun posible Po ba na makasuhan din ako since minor age Yung binanatan ko?
Criminal Law 1 covers Book 1 of the Revised Penal Code. It's mostly about criminal liability, various circumstances that affect criminal liability and penalties. Book 2 is all about specific crimes, their elements and the imposable penalties. I hope this helps, kapatid. God bless you and your law school dreams. 😊❤️🙏🏻
Hello Sir Lex, I am a Junior High School Student. And i want to learn about the basic philippine law can you recommend a book for me to read or any book that contains law knowledge. I want to Explore and Learn about the basic laws of the Philippines.

Hello, Attorney! Can you also do a series on Criminal Law I? Thanks po! Your lectures on Persons and Family Relations already helped me a lot this sem. More power po and God bless!
Hi, kapatid. Thank you for the question. My recommendation is to always wait for the prescribed textbooks of your professors. Sayang kasi kung mali ang bili. ❤️🙏🏼😊
@@LexInMotion Hi Sir Lex, pardon me po for giving you the impression that I'm still a student of law, actually I graduated in law school and preparing for the Bar exams na. Pls recommend those that you use po Sir Lex para mapadali po review ko for bar exams, salamat po.
Thanks for the clarification. Reyes is the gold standard but I agree that it’s incomplete. Boado works for me. Ticman also for the updates. Campanilla, not the book but the Judge. Magaling siya sa live.
Attorney, I have a question po, pwedi po bang mag file ng grave threat if person A said to person B na "kaya kong tumira sa kulungan para kay C " which is B and C ay may hidwaan na talaga even before? So pina abot ni A kay C ang sabi sa kanya ni B. Pwedi bang maka file ng grave threat si C kahit di nya directly narinig ang threat ni B sa kanya? Thank you po attorney. Godbless

@renzo however, in the Philippines we do not have common laws. Matatawag lang na crime ang isang act if it is punished as a crime by expressed provisions of the law. So, kung wala pang batas, act palang yun.

Hello, Lex in Motion! Will you please feature videos about law school extrance exams? I'll take UPLAE in February. Thank youuu.
Hi, bro. The PHILSAT is out of my coverage at the moment but I hear that UP LAE in a Grand Manner is an excellent place to start. 😊❤️🙏🏻
WOOOOOH, IDOL :D :D :D !!
Very helpful Atty

Tnx sir lex for this video. God bless u po😁
Salamat, kapatid. I'm glad you like the new format. I'm also excited for the longer, more comprehensive and illustrated discussions. It's a labor of love for me and the team. 😊❤️🙏🏻
3:40 dba pede ma consider na homicide if accident nya napatay.
Estée Lauder ang ads kasi nakaka haggard tong subject na to kaya kailangan fresh para mapansin ni atty prof! Hahaha!
Hahahahah! Thank you for watching them. 😊❤️🙏🏻
Thank you so much! God bless you more ❤
Sir :) ask ko lang po kung meron po bang advantage ang course na criminology pang pre-law?
3:55 ma consider na murder if sinadya nya na patayin kahit hindi kumita.
I think homicide po.....di KO po sure
Murder po dahil may intent to kill at must be proven in court din
@@geoff4702 i agree
9:11 ano po yung word?
Thank you po.

Nakapila na yan, sis. God bless you too and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻

@@LexInMotion Hi will this be released soon? Just started as freshmen and as a working student i find your videos very helpful
Hello po! Can you feature po mga books na ginamit niyo po sa pag-aaral. Together with its author.
Hi super thankful po sa mga advices nyo po. Pede po malaman ang fb page nyo po? Incoming law student this year po. God bless po
Hello, Atty. Lex. I just wanna clarify something. May I know what an isolated case is? I've been looking in my books as well as in the internet but I lack resources. There is no enough explanation regarding that case. Thanks ahead po. 😊
Sir Lex, do you have site of your PDF's notes of your subjects in Law School? thank you and God bless!
Hi Sir Lex! New subscriber here!!
Btw I just want to ask sir if you have PDFs of basic law courses so that I can read in advance before entering in law school? Thank you sir!! God bless you❤️
Thank you po
Thank you too. 😊❤️🙏🏻
Hi Atty. Thanks po
yes
Ano po best book for Criminal Law 1?
Please create a lecture abt complex crimes pls 😪😪😪
Between Crim I and Crim II, mas mahirap para sa akin si Crim I kasi mas more on analysis siya then the provisions on modifying circumstances and penalties are long so maglaan ng time dun talaga. Hindi pa kasama dun yung computations using the Indeterminate Sentence Law na madalas din maitanong sa Bar so hindi man idiscuss ng prof niyo yun, wala kang choice but to study it for the Bar. And yes, medyo madami nabago sa batas so beware sa mga amendments.
Lex can you please make negotiable more interesting?
Meron tayo niyan, kapatid. Naka pila na. 😊❤️🙏🏻
Sir what if Yung magnanakaw na nanloob sa property is under age what if napagkamalan kung hindi minorde tapos binanatan ko sa loob Ng amung Bahay TAs Ang lumaban din pano pag napatay ko yun posible Po ba na makasuhan din ako since minor age Yung binanatan ko?
Sir what is the distinction po between Criminal Law 1 and 2?
Criminal Law 1 covers Book 1 of the Revised Penal Code. It's mostly about criminal liability, various circumstances that affect criminal liability and penalties.
Book 2 is all about specific crimes, their elements and the imposable penalties. I hope this helps, kapatid. God bless you and your law school dreams. 😊❤️🙏🏻
I'm just curious what is the exact opposite of crim interms of sucjects in law school
I'm not sure I understand your question, kapatid.
Hello Sir Lex, I am a Junior High School Student. And i want to learn about the basic philippine law can you recommend a book for me to read or any book that contains law knowledge. I want to Explore and Learn about the basic laws of the Philippines.
Hello, kapatid. Thank you for reaching out. Start with the materials mentioned in this episode. You can find them in the description box. These will allow you to immerse yourself in the law. Go and enjoy.
God bless you and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Hello, Attorney! Can you also do a series on Criminal Law I? Thanks po! Your lectures on Persons and Family Relations already helped me a lot this sem. More power po and God bless!
Criminal Law and Constitutional Law are being produced now. 😊❤️🙏🏻
@@LexInMotion Maraming salamat po! Marami po kayong matutulungan na Law Students. God bless you po Atty. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Sir Lex may I please ask for the title and authors of the books you recommend for criminal law 1 and 2 po. Thank you!
The books recommended during my law school years sa Crim. 1 and 2 was only by Reyes. I find it inadequate po thus my query.
@@LexInMotion thank you po
Pede po ba mg law kung di naka pag aral nng pre-law
As long as you've finished any four-year course, you're welcome in law school 😊❤️🙏🏻
Attorney, I have a question po, pwedi po bang mag file ng grave threat if person A said to person B na "kaya kong tumira sa kulungan para kay C " which is B and C ay may hidwaan na talaga even before? So pina abot ni A kay C ang sabi sa kanya ni B. Pwedi bang maka file ng grave threat si C kahit di nya directly narinig ang threat ni B sa kanya? Thank you po attorney. Godbless
Please send a PM on Facebook. 😊❤️🙏🏻
@@LexInMotion thank you po attorney.
well you're very convincing
saan po mahahanap ang pdf po ng lectures niyo po sir lex. thank you po

So many junior high school students are joining The Law School Boot Camp. Welcome sa Lex in Motion Community. God bless you and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Sir, Ano po ba ang nauna? Crime or Law?
Law po sir
kasi there is no crime when there is no law punishing it
@renzo however, in the Philippines we do not have common laws. Matatawag lang na crime ang isang act if it is punished as a crime by expressed provisions of the law. So, kung wala pang batas, act palang yun.
May aklat kabpo ba nyan? Pwedi pabili
