@@GalushkoPP I was thrown by the look. Just like mine almost, and probably curly birch and antler-but the stocks on closer examination should have been the giveaway, much fatter thN Faust's style.
@@GalushkoPP Thanks for the info. There's something about the sound of pipe music that really appeals to me, but at 73 I feel it's bit late to learn another instrument... Thanks! The melody can be found here: thesession.org/tunes/2059 I'm doing some additional ornaments here and there, but hopefully these are not too hard to figure out!

Отлично!!!
ребята, вы такие большие молодцы!!! третий день слушаю, и каждый раз настроение поднимается!!!! классс! Вы из Питера?
Скорее всего да.
This sounds Northumbrian or Lowland Scots, which, given the history, explains a lot.
Vey nice !!! Who is the säckpipa's pipe maker ? Great !!!
Merci Pierre!
It's Alexander Khudolev from Sochi, Russia. You can find him on FB or in VK
@@GalushkoPP Thanks a lot for your answer !!!
@@pierrethebault5279 No. Alban Faust. Sweden.
Sorry, but actually it is made by Alexander Khudolev and not Alban Faust.
It's my pipe, and me playing on video :)

Please what is the name of the flute played at the beginning? :)
It's a tin whistle in D
Love the tone of the Sackpipa, does it have a sealed end to the chanter like Northumbrian pipes?
Hi! Nope, it's open end, but root note of chanter (D) is the same pitch as drone, so it sometimes has this "staccato" feeling
