Great suggestion! I hope to be able to do that in a future version. It is a tricky problem naming chords from the letters, as there are inversions, rootless voicing, and on guitar lots of notes are omitted (like the 5th) and we still call them with the extensions assumed. I don't think anyone has this down perfectly, and software like Oolimo just give all possible variations of the chord names assuming each note played as a possible root... and then there are slash chords, theoretical keys. lots to figure out... but it would be a blast to get something working.
@@michael-varney-music Maybe a lookup table with most of the possible chords, might take up time though and slow things down, maybe have it as an option.
Really neat, it would be useful to have the chord names displayed from the individual notes if that is possible. Would help in finding shapes .
