    I will love to see Dingo seeing this and able to pronounce it perfectly the next time. To get the name “Adesope” right, please you should pronounce it as “Adeshcp3” in twi accent so it will sound perfectly like the Nigerian accent.
    Thanks ❤

I used to think I was the best eternally until I met other equally good students from other school. Thats Sheldon's story over here.... I believe this interview will challenge him to broaden his tentacles. I love his Adesope scope of experience and knowledge about this music, I thought Sheldon was overyhyping in his intro. Great interview and discussion .

    I'm Ghanaian but I think the reason why Nigerian djs are not playing their old music is cuz Nigerian music was not that hot until p square dems stepped into the scene. Before p square j. Martins, olu maintain dems nigerian music was struggling. The music was either like those Naija cools they used as soundtracks in their movies or that juju music with the flutes. Those times Nigeria loved highlife so much that the likes of tony tatuila dems were going for Ghana collabs to be hot.

      Well a better reason, is that the output of new music in Nigeria is relentless!
      Even new acts are coming out with new hit songs, and the current artistes themselves are still on a roll!
      So the DJ's are spoilt for choice !
      But Nigeria has been having smash hits from 16 to 17 years back steady like 9ice's Kongo Aso, Banky W's Mr Capable, P Square's Do me, Kas's Fi mi le, Ice Prince's Oleku, Dbanj's Fall in Love amongst others!
      But the volume of songs and sounds out of Nigeria is like a Tsunami!
      So DJ's get drowned out!!
      👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!!

    • @aframaco9491
      @aframaco9491 5 месяцев назад +6

      I particularly hated that Tictac /Tony Tetulla song!
      It was an inferior sound and very poor music content!
      Before that period, Nigerians were enjoying Majek Fashek, Dizzy K Falola, Felix Lebarty, Onyeka, Kris Okotie, Veno Marioghae, Sweat, Christy Essien all in the early 1980's!
      All great songs!
      So Tetula was a climb down for me!
      Nigeria has always been self sufficient with music!
      👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
