During New Glenn's inaugural mission, Blue Ring Pathfinder tested Blue Ring’s core flight, ground systems, and operational capabilities. Watch to learn more.
What an awesome time to be alive. I love this stuff so much. I can’t wait to see how much the space technology and exploration evolves over the coming years. It’s like a modern day Apollo program again.
0:40 LAN/WAN on orbit? I'm intrigued! What are we talking about RF-wise - 2.4 GHz? And how do you downlink? If this went through Kuiper in the future, that would be wild. Would love to learn more about this capability!
It’s a great idea/plan but why so small?? The vid shown made it seem like it only took up 20% of the whole payload area of new Glenn so why not use the other 80%??? Looks like it Needs to be bigger or is the video off?? I get not all the way but more than half the payload bay?? Regardless it’s a great design keep up the good work!
@@dwightk.schruteiii8454 Maybe not this version but a later version. It means that a company/researcher can still work in space despite knowing nothing about nor caring about building satellites. Like how many developers don't need to know much about servers and hardware, since they can run it on AWS/cloud compute. Bezos' concepts for blue origin are seemingly more about space 'infrastructure'; rockets and customisable satellites, than their are about accomplishing a specific mission. Like selling shovels during a gold rush. (or storing and delivering parcels in a consumer products rush, in the case of amazon)
That's great but what will Blue Origin do to mitigate the space debris build up and its effect on astronomical observations using ground based telescopes?
That's great but if ur launching these things once a year then its not gonna have much of an impact. It takes you guys forever to build hardware. On top of that you guys are way too secretive and when you do launch we only get some blurry images and animation. Its hard to get behind that
It’s more advanced than just that, it’s a space tug and automated control system for smallsat deployment, allowing it to deliver many satellites to multiple different orbits which other rockets are incapable of doing. It’s actually pretty cool, like a space bus for little sats.
Blue Ring sounds like the name of something that would slide down over the top of New Shepard, to enhance performance.
😂
true
And some additional hydrogen tanks named blue balls, it will boos performance even more!
🐓
Grow up
Very cool. It’s good to see competition and new capabilities in space exploration.
Keep putting these kinds of videos out!
Blue origin finally stepping up the pace. the new space race!

Interesting idea. Good infrastructure for smaller satellites.
Lets go Blue Ring!

I love blue origin!
WoW. Blue origin. Blue ring 🚀🌐♥️😍👏
I'm just happy whenever anybody makes an orbital rocket. The merrier the faster we get to properly develop space
Love the Roll Out Solar Arrays from Redwire $RDW
When people work hard and cooperate, we may be able to see the edge of the Earth sooner than expected. Go Blue!
Loves it!
You’ll know it can handle like triple the satellites if it was longer right? I should be on the board

To sell to other launch vehicles i would assume.
Good Morning!
Good Ideas Blue Origins
Get the next rocket on the pad!
I got that Blue Ring Sting
🚀🚀🚀🚀♾️🚀🚀🚀🚀
Blue Ring alone could literally revolutionize space economy
How exactly?

So another 10 years ??
Servers in space!

Coming in the year 2184
Ai race and Space race are on. Love it.
Gross.
Hate it
Cool.
amazon reached orbit. deliver my package.
There is always one indian in higher position in every American company 😅😅 1:51
Geostationary Orbit Dedicated Communications Satellite Rocket
Can no longer cheer for the company, now that Jeff Bezos is sucking up to Chump the Fascist. Sorry Guys and Gals, I know you work hard.
Why did it take 13 minutes to reach orbit? Should only take approx 9. Slow rocket.
How many generations would it take?
Blue Curacao ring shots will produce a blue ring much faster

They’re just too corporate, probably 15 Hr employees per engineer, they won’t ever get anything done compared to SpaceX
Oh good thats some real innovation, mass produce these
why so small
Maybe you can get SpaceX to launch it for you
Space X could probably do 50 in one launch Lol
Dumb😂
Tiny disposable third stage. Amazing. 🙄

The first space tug really, I think BO is trash but this is neat
