This thing was close enough for us to realise, that this wasnt a person. It was a sunny day, our eyes did not play a trick on us. We ran out of the woods as fast as we could. Both of us have the same memory years later. We were there, it was real. Shortly after that day, he became a devoted christian. I still get goosebumbs and teary eyes thinking about that thing.

Then outta nowhere a box looking shadow came over her, and she disappeared.. Turns out a man had suffocated his wife to death with a pillow in that house. To this day, i have no idea if i witnessed it. Or if it was just my 6 year old imagination.

The story about coming home and finding blood everywhere happened in my family, too. My eldest sister was in her early teens, and came home to a kitchen with a lot of blood in it and no one was home. Being 1985 or so, we didn't have cell phones so she couldn't find out where we were. She didn't think to call the police or hospital, but hoped there been a simple medical emergency and not a murder and just sat, hoping to see the rest of us very soon. At that moment I was at the hospital getting my finger sewn. I had cut it quite badly. Mom says I almost cut it off completely but I don't believe it. I have a small scar near the top of my index finger. I think that sometimes cuts look worse than they are and she was a panicked mom. What had happened was that while my parents were making dinner and backs were turned, I had touched the edge of a can. I think that cans were worse back then for cuts. I feel worse for my sister and family than myself. 😅
